Well it is a small school of thought whom are obviously driven by a personal hatred of Thatcher because it is in their political interests to do so and they just cannot concede that she did actually do some good.
Scargill loved to strike because ultimately he was a communist agitator, he wanted...
Spot on, some people on here blame Capello, before they blamed Ericsson, or McClaren or Keegan or whomever the poisoned chalice fell to.
When are they going to realise it is because of the technical inabilities of English players compared to their Spanish, German, Dutch, Brazilian, Argentinian...
Cricket (test cricket especially) needs to attract more viewers, test cricket is struggling throughout the world (except England). People whom have a passing interest in the game and could be attracted to go are confused by absurdities such as a TV replay showing hawkeye having the ball crashing...
No it won't the aim of the bowler is not to pitch the ball as far away from the batsman as he can, it is to try and get his wicket. If I was a bowler I would be looking to clip the top of off stump, not pitch it miles outside leg, as you seem to imply. Just because the LBW rule has been changed...
It's not when there is a load of rough there on days 4 and 5 which have been caused by right arm seamers from the other end. I have seen many times batsman just pad up because of that and the tactic of the bowlers to try and utilise this rough is negated....this rough actually only comes into...
You can get scenarios where left arm spinners bowl around the wicket to right hand batsman and pitch it into rough and all the batsman does is pad up because he can't be given out LBW because the ball pitches outside the leg stump......inspiring sport.
A change in the LBW law also should not have any effect on the quality of batsman. If a batsman is good enough he shouldn't have to worry about such a change.
I am listening so I can't see, but that is another bl00dy stupid rule in cricket and I am not saying this because it has gone against England I have thought this for years. It shouldn't matter whether the ball pitches outside off outside leg etc. it matters whether the ball is going to hit the...
You wouldn't have thought it was the second day of the first test of the summer would you?
What are they going to be like if we are down at half time in the first game of the Amex....shouting for Gus out?
