3 posts in and no one has mentioned the demi-god Inigo Calderon. Surprising, as some people on here worship him as if he could turn water to wine and help cure the ill.
To be honest, I'm surprised we are making their fans pay to come and watch us Neanderthals hoof the ball up the pitch. I think as a kind gesture towards them, offer to double the price of our tickets, so they can come watch the game for free, and also have a free bar for them in the South Stand...
I would be quite happy to see hem go up. Seem to know how to put one over on us and as some have said, a well run club. They don't play the most exciting football in the world, but McCarthy knows how to grind out a result.
Really hope it happens and he does well there. Would be amazing to see any ex Albion manager possibly in charge of a team in the Champions League final. Good luck to him.
Fantastic! Looking forward to more home grown talent earning places in the 1st team squad. With JFC, Dunk and March all regulars and Walton knocking on the door it must show some of the younger players that if they fight they can make the cut. Exciting times to wear blue and white.
Shows how impressive the win is today bearing in mind Ipswich are the only other team to be victorious at The Valley today. Now, must carry this fantastic period back to the AMEX and start improving form there.
