I guess that a few STHs may have waited to buy tickets other than their own.

However I think that will have only been a few.

Plenty to go round for anyone that wants one.

It was the same when we played them 2 years ago. All of a sudden every season ticket holder had loads of new "friends".

Is there anyway to see what seats are available to people who haven't got season tickets?

Last f.a. cup against arsenal...

My ST holder friend didn't buy his seat, so I had a Arsenal fan next to me in the West Lower! :wozza:

Th ST holder next to me brought his colleague instead of his sister that day,... this turned out to be John Piercy ex-albion player now sports teacher in Eastbourne,.... sadly it turned out that he had his Arsenal shirt on under his jacket,... I wasn't impressed.

I sincerely hope that should, heaven forbid, any away fans manage to get hold of any remaining home tickets and that they indeed manage to score, then they shall be greeted with a solid Paddington stare.

But does this really mean 15600 sold, when the 3000 1901's and the 4400 Arsenal tickets are accounted for?

We either have just over 7000 left for the general sale or none.

:dunce: Think I have just answered my own question...... so about 4500 STH's have not bought so far.

Seems about the right number sold, plenty have said they won't go due to the price, and it being on telly. Can see it going over 25K though

I read it as 30,500 - 23,000 (4,400 Arsenal + 18,600 ST holders) - 3,000 (1901 excluded from count as not 'sold' just unavailable) = <4,500 left....?

4k empty seats will be a ringing endorsement for those who maintained that it was overpriced. Having initially baulked at paying £32, I had reluctantly come round to paying it and then the print at home was withdrawn and that seemed like a pisstake too far. That said, I can see a few thousand Arsenal hoovering up most of the rest when they go on 'no previous purchase history necessary' sale.
