Three wins in a row ... Sami same team minus a couple of loaness you haven't got it mate, thank goodness you resigned

I find the clueless Finns gross ineptitude quite annoying now! Who knows what we might have done this season with someone who knew what they were doing. I think it unlikely he'll get a 3rd chance at another club.

You must be gutted

Happy as the next lad. Just goes to show you that everything in football is over-determined.

There are far more possible causes -- manager, line-up, formation, state of pitch, etc. etc. -- than there are available outcomes, of which there are exactly three -- win, loss, draw.
Yet people seem to think it's possible to pair them up, one-to-one, and definitively.

Imagine if we get within five or six points off the play-offs over the coming months. I think i'd wet my draws.

Harlequins thump Leicester for a bonus point win, Albion win at The Valley. Happy Saturday.

It's entirely probable. There have been years when 10 points has been the difference between 15th or even 16th place, and 6th place.

2 points per game average is entirely achievable for Houston and would put us in the play-offs with a wet sail...

You've got to love NSC. Here we are in 19th and starting to get excited about the playoffs. :lolol:

I'm not being glass half empty and I'm feeling pretty confident that we should climb well clear of the dreaded dotted line of 22nd place but it's still too early to tell if we are just experiencing the old "dead cat bounce" (with apologies to Glasfryn for the turn of phrase).

Top half of the table would be just lovely.

We'll have a good idea after playing Ipswich and Brentford. I thought Brentford were a very good side and I expect them to make the play-offs.

First half we sounded (radio) second best, I couldn't listen to much of the second half - were we the better team, or were we just lucky?

Wish I could share the optimism. The reality is that 6th place will probably need 74-75 points this year; there's a much wider gap between the top and bottom half.
