Fantastic to get another away win, now to rock the Amex as the homes fans have been short changed this season so far.

Let's get behind the team, chanting, scarf/hat waving, noise.....the away fans can do it so let's try to up the volume at home too, we should be the 'Twelfth Man', that's what home advantage means.

Great result - another great away day.

I'm confused though as to just how much better JFC thought he was going to make that chance at the beginning of the second half by taking those extra touches??? Why the hell didn't he just put his foot through it?

Thought he played pretty poorly again today, although successive managers seem to see something in it, I don't. Personally I think we have better options in the squad.

The chance was right in front of me, it was a simple left foot hook into the net first time. The touch lost the chance. Hope they startpracticing first time shots when in the box but it should come naturally. I thought cms worked hard, won the fre kick but he doesnt take up many goal scoring position. A good playerbut not a goal scorer.

Enjoyed today yet again, but please can some of the multitudes be less obsessed with where their mates are around them and actually watch the game, supporting their team. Just saying like.

Ah you have to love those bellends. They stand up right in front of you, mobile phone clamped to their ear with their other arm waving slowly in the air whilst just repeating loudly, "I'm here mate, down here, look down here, I'm waving, can you see me I'm down here, where are you? Wave so I can see you....etc etc".

Shows how impressive the win is today bearing in mind Ipswich are the only other team to be victorious at The Valley today. Now, must carry this fantastic period back to the AMEX and start improving form there.

No wonder Charlton and Ipswich both lost, if they each played two games today.

CAFC perspective (one of many): Felt the game was fought out by two teams lacking cohesion and quality in the final third. To be honest, I thought it was a pretty poor showing, however, we were clearly the poorer of the two teams on display. Met up with a couple of Albion supporting mates beforehand and the pub was buzzing. Very good support. Anyway, wish you all the best for the rest of the season, I'm sure Hughton will pull you well clear of the drop zone. You may pass us on your way up the table as we continue to plummet. We were shocking and I'm starting to worry about getting dragged into the dog fight.

If we were to get 2 x wins and 1 x draw from the next 3 games, it could see us mid table; where, 3 games ago, everyone would have been happy with as an end of season position.

You've got to love NSC. Here we are in 19th and starting to get excited about the playoffs. :lolol:

I'm not being glass half empty and I'm feeling pretty confident that we should climb well clear of the dreaded dotted line of 22nd place but it's still too early to tell if we are just experiencing the old "dead cat bounce" (with apologies to Glasfryn for the turn of phrase).

Top half of the table would be just lovely.

Definitely. Would take anything around mid-table now, but at least that looks a realistic aim , unlike a month ago.
