[Football] Maradona and Colombian Manager both slam England...

I was very young at that time but I remember it well. But I'm not talking about single isolated incidents - I'm talking about overall - across many different games.

[Football] Maradona and Colombian Manager both slam England...

No leg to stand on given Colombia's antics obviously, but I have to say I wasn't a fan of some of our antics. Henderson in particular doing a Neymar-lite impression was a bit sad to see - we haven't really been like that in the past, which is something I've been proud of. The diving and...

[News] Potential tragedy into good news

I don't know anything about diving but from what I've read it would be an horrendous task for them to dive out. None of them can swim, zero visibility, strong currents, narrow passageways where divers had to remove equipment to get past. If any of them had an anxiety attack in those conditions...

[Football] ITV England World Cup Finals Coverage

I think it's only on the BBC. A Google search cannot find any reference to ITV also having live coverage ... Just that BBC had first pick of the QFs. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44704751

    [TV] Gary Lineker - prick

I believe they were trolling you mate! I do have sympathy. Lineker clearly knew there were people who didn't know the result, as he mentioned giving away the result before he did so whilst laughing about it. Bit of a dickish move, but Lineker's always been a bit of a plum IMO.

[Football] The Official Match Thread: England v Colombia

Saw another angle off the save on MOTD - inconclusive whether it was going wide or not. Might have been swerving onto the post. Need another angle still. Regardless - amazing save. Can't take the chance.

I'm not 100% sure it was going wide. He gets a good hand to it. Need to see another angle.

Would have been talked about for years had they not scored. Now it'll mostly be forgotten. Hopefully we get some more angles at some point.

Don't think that was in normal time!

I'm talking about the long range shot that led to their corner from which they equalised.

[Football] The Official Match Thread: England v Colombia

I thought in 90 mins it was a great team performance. We restricted them to very little, yet looked a threat ourselves. Defended well as a team and lots of clever movement when on the attack. Flow interrupted somewhat by the game Colombia made it. I think some people expect too much from...

Anyone seen a replay of that Pickford save in normal time?

It's amazing - we've just won a penalty shootout and yet there's still loads of negativity about.

So much negativity. At least wait until we lose!

So many hindsight managers on NSC this World Cup. :lolol:

Sterling has looked good to me. Colombia are clearly worried about him. Unfortunately Sterling has become England's scapegoat.

What are they talking about? VAR doesn't get involved in yellow cards. At least it's not meant to.
