Things you don't take to football any more?

I had a football rattle in the 1950's :cheery:

    Pompey

Yes you are right and the 17th of Feb is the day. However I understand the Administrator can ask the courts for an extension if he believes they might be close to exiting administration. Expect this to run for a while yet.

Bold ambition: Zaha believes he is ready for the Premier League

Fair do's but my main point is that if he doesn't go he's not going to be very happy and his last months form might well become the norm. This must depress his value further for that fateful day in the close season when terms are finally agreed. Anyway, happy New year to all our Palace friends...

Bold ambition: Zaha believes he is ready for the Premier League

The real problem for Palace is if the top offer is about £8 million, Parish and co say no and then you have a pissed off Zaha till the end of the season. Then his value only can go down. Best option I would think for them is take the money and run.

    Wi-fi from March

They do but as none of the wi fi signals are open and require a password, (which we don't have), they arn't much use.

    Wi-fi from March

Has anyone who's done the questionairre managed to get question 11 filled up ok. It keeps telling me to submit an answer and when I do it it won't let me post it because it says it hasn't been filled up! Not a very good start for our digital partners if they can't even get the survey sorted to...

Is anyone feeling a little better yet?

Well I was half way up a glacier in Iceland while the match was on and I still got NSC telling me the bad news as it happened. Switched off at 2-0 and just gazed st the scenery.

    Adieu Azure

Isn't part of the problem with catering of this type, that the staff are almost semi-part time. Apart from the poor training most of them have had and the piss poor pay rate they get, it must be great to be in a job that says come in Saturday , next Tuesday evening and then sod off until the...

Portsmouth now in the relegation zone

Well as I understand it the Portsmouth Trust have been given the nod by the Administrator but nothing can happen until a court case with Portpin is decided about the charge still on Fratton Park and which will be required to be sorted in the Trust's favour. Portpin claim its 18 million and the...

    Missing badger help

Believe me my friend, if you ever have badgers visiting your garden on a regular basis, you might wish otherwise. For about 2 years they visited mine and attempted to move my garden about 3 feet to the left. I've never known such destructive creatures and I ended up having to have brick walls...

    Bridge car park

If your coming down the A23, join the A27 to Lewes at Patcham Turn off at the Asda turning and continue down Coldean lane until you reach the Lewes Road lights. Turn left heading towards Lewes, and keep right. At the next set of lights turn right and go under the A27. Go straight ahead and you...

Does anyone remember when the Albion realised the club was formed in 1901 and ..

Think there was. The Southern League was formed in 1894.

fao anyone who's been to Iceland

Just be aware that like I said in my earlier post their shoving up their VAT rate from 7% to 25% in January so prices might rise for accomodation, booze and trips out. Depends what deal you can get. I'm going 29th November till the 6th December so I don't miss a home game!

fao anyone who's been to Iceland

I'm going last week in November and staying a week. Flight from Gatwick, hotel b&b and 2 full day excursions + a visit to the Blue Lagoon comes out at just over £500. One of the day trips is the glacier walk and Northern Lights, the other the Golden Circle tour. This is my 3rd visit in 5 years...

Bruno OUT - injured for Birmingham game - and Ipswich game too

Re: Bruno OUT - injured for Birmingham game It's not his scoring ability that's the problem, it's the fact he gets skinned too easily. Still I agree he's probably the best we've got. Get well soon Bruno.

    New Bridge Car Park

I suppose if you get a season ticket for it at £270 it works out about £10 a game with a few cup matches and friendlies. Incidently just to confirm its a doddle getting out. I left at the final whistle last game and was home in Mile Oak in less than 25 mins. :)

15 November - Police & Crime Commissioner Polling Day...

Looks like a nice quiet day for me, I'm working at a polling station in Saltdean. Reckon I will be lucky to get 100 people in all day.

Is Tomasz Mirosław Kuszczak the best goalkeeper BHAFC have ever had ?

He's good but so was Eric Gill and Brian Powney if you go back 60 years for the former and 30+ for the latter.
