Bridge car park

Sorry if fixtures, but after looking on Google maps I can't quite see how you get into the Bridge car park.

The person at the club said you take the university turn-off and then go over the bridge, but surely that will take you to Bennet's Field?

I know you can't use Lucraft Road, and I can see the Southern Water road, but that would presumably mean turning off the A27 before you get to the University, and we will be coming from the A23.



Maybe they mean you just come back on yourself at the university roundabout?

If your coming down the A23, join the A27 to Lewes at Patcham

Turn off at the Asda turning and continue down Coldean lane until you reach the Lewes Road lights.

Turn left heading towards Lewes, and keep right. At the next set of lights turn right and go under the A27. Go straight ahead and you will see the stewards by the Bridge. Show them your parking ticket and your in!

Its easier to drive it than explain it, but it is a doddle.

Allow plenty of time for the Coldean lane bit as there have been roadworks at the bottom for the last few matches which can slow things up a bit.

Turn off the main A270 road into the Bridge Car Park entrance when you are underneath the Brighton By-Pass. If coming from the Lewes direction, don't use the new flyover towards Brighton, but use the left hand lane that keeps you at ground level. In both directions, the turn into the car park is at the traffic lights.

Can you get to it via the A27 Brighton bound? I will be coming east bound on A27 but do not want to use Coldean Lane exit due to the roadworks there. I was planning to come off at Falmer and come back down the A27 keeping left past Falmer station but is that actually possible?
