Papa if you follow the link to the digital stadium in my post there is a tab for those interested in participating. Might be pushing it for this week but certainly possible for the rest of the season I would think.
Alternatively look out for the guys wearing the t-shirts hovering around the...
Although its not going to help much this season you might like to know that some of us are trialling a system with Sussex University for users of Android phones at the Amex. Basically they have come up with a system whereby android users have an app on their phone which cleverly combines the...
What would really make me laugh is that Palace miss out on the playoffs, (ho ho), sack Ollie, ( he he ), and then have to pay his 4+ years contract up thus using most of the Zaha money up so getting little or no benefit from it.
Please make it happen, please, please. :)
Unfortunately I think they get it even if there in Adminstration. Its only liquidation that would stop the final payment in August. They have been receiving parachute money all the while they have been in Admin so it won't stop now.
Mind you its all earmarked for repaying the local Council loan...
We're not picking on him G. The point is that we can't sell more than 28500 at the moment. We sold that or thereabouts for the last 2. There seems to be this misconception we can go to 30000+ now but we can't.
I think were restricted to 28500 at the moment and probably to next season till the Council give the go-ahead when there happy about the transport able to cope.
Just reading through this reminded me that my first match watching the Albion was exactly 60 years ago today. I'm sure my dad took me to see us play Swindon at the Goldstone on the 23rd March 1953! (I was only 8 and can't remember much except we lost). No I don't want a medal but its a bit...
Interesting isn't it. If we had lost, say 2-0 on Sunday, half the people on this thread would have been offering to drive Gus up to Reading.
I just wish everybody would just chill a little. What will be, will be and life at the club will go on I'm sure.
Well I stand corrected although I'm positive I was told that I had to wait until I was 65 at the Withdean.
I wonder if they changed it at some time as I only had a season there for the last two seasons. I definately had to pay full rate the first season and when I was 65 it dropped to the...
Not sure if thats correct. I was under 65 for a number of years at Withdean but had to wait till I was 65 before they gave me the reduced rate. I thought the qualifying date was that you had to be 65 on the 1st August to get one for the season.
If I leave 5 minutes early I'm home around 5:30. If I leave on the final whistle it can add almost an hour. Normally I wait till the end but sometimes, just sometimes, I would prefer an extra hour at home rather than queuing to get out of the Bridge Car park or driving at 1mph up Coldean Lane...
I think if you want to get away quickly you should leave a minute or two from the end or move pretty smartish at the final whistle.
I took my grandson last Saturday for his first Amex experience and we stayed past the final whistle to let the crowds disperse. We didn't drive out the Bridge Car...
Quite right again. However the PFA are certain that the parachute payment is promised to the poor destitute footballers they represent which is why they arn't overjoyed with the Trust taking over.
Quite honestly if you were trying to produce the biggest financial mess possible you would need...
Quite right. There is also a disputed £3m 'floating charge', that the previous owner says is due to him which is on top of these figures.
Incidently the fees due to the Administrator and the law firm are only up to early January. There will be a few months more of that to add no doubt.
I...
When you delve into the latest financial figures produced by the Administrator it does make you wonder how there going to get out of this.
They owe £2m+ to the administrator, £1.5m to a law firm advising them, apparently £11m+ to former players and other football creditors that has to be paid...
I suppose Eric Gill, (50's and 60's) was one of the best as he had 247 consecutive appearences! But I agree that Big Tommo has to technically the best I've seen in nearly 60 years of watching.
