That was 33 years ago, BG!
I'd like to think that things have moved on a bit now, and that our club would never contemplate such an unprofessional arrangement.
RM-T, one of the things you must not do is stop posting on NSC!
Post updates on your health but, equally importantly, get back to posting about BHA! Embrace what NSC is all about - you'll make comments that others think is drivel and vice versa. Join everyone else in the speculation, rumour...
I agree with that and I'm sure he can do a good job for us but, much as I'd like to see him back, it should only be for a salary that befits his age and current abilities.
Surely no-one is stupid or naïve enough to expect BZ to repeat his previous spell with us??
Those that would like to see him back know what his current capabilities are. Ignoring for a moment, questions over his fitness and his advancing years, he is now a different type of player to the one...
That's not a criticism I would level at the BBC's Olympic coverage at all. Just how much action did we miss in 2012?
And I really don't want to see it all interspersed with adverts....or pay to watch it
Maybe because NSC keeps banging on about it!
I can see why some don't like his tone but not why some were so keen to make 2 +2 = 22 and twist his words to say that the transfer wasn't go to happen. He didn't say that.
In any case, I simply don't understand why some get so heated about what AN...
I know it's very fashionable to criticise AN at every opportunity, justifiably or not, but I can't see why in relation to this.
He has never said that BZ is not signing, simply that, so far, everything is rumour and speculation. In his latest tweet he is saying that he has an incomparable...
There is no evidence to prove that the club started the BZ rumour.
There is no evidence to prove that the club is inactive in the transfer market.
I am delighted that the club does not conduct its business on NSC.
Calm down!
I wouldn't call him a bedwetter because he's not. (It's such a stupid word, anyway, and just as ridiculous and undeserved as 'licker'. Both words belong in the primary school playground, not in reasonable discussions about our football club!)
I respect his opinion and understand...
I agree with that, but none of what you've said there is relevant to our PR and commercial operations. They have to exist and be successful regardless of the standard of the team.
And if that standard is not as good as we'd like, we should be wanting the club's PR and commercial operations to...
What has the transfer situation got to do with the 'corporate' side of the club's operation? (Except that the latter helps fund the former..)
Should we not 'accept' anything the club does until we have a decent team on the pitch?
Do you want the club to stop all activities except player...
What a miserable and clueless post.
Why would you want a marketing person to have a say on what happens on the pitch? Every club has numerous departments that have no involvement whatsoever in on-the-pitch matters. Do you want them all scrapped?
I'm pleased that we have PR and Marketing...
Why would it spoil it?
Surely we all have the capacity to treat a return of BZ with reason, realism and perspective? Ignoring his age for a moment, he is now a different type of player and, in my view, has something to offer us that we currently don't have.
I'd be delighted to see him back...
You appear to have missed the point completely.
I don't think that Rooney is world class and I don't think that we should be building a team around him ... and I don't recall anyone recently saying those things.
I just thought that your desperate attempts to belittle his scoring record were...
