As a principle, it works.
But in practice, it is anything but simple. It would only work if there were an appropriate salary cap across all leagues, all divisions and, at least, all European countries.
Good luck in getting everyone involved to agree to that!
And you'd still have the problem...
Does the club have a choice? Genuine question.
Controversial as it will be, I don't blame the Club, or Sky! Like any company, they will come up with business plans and go to bodies like the Football League and offer them £Xm to show live games. Nothing wrong with that.
However, The Football...
Your 'pointing out' is the cynical bit because all you are doing is 'pointing out' a scenario that is a pure guess on your part. It is an opinion you hold based on no evidence.
If you can provide the evidence then I will apologetically agree with you!
You doubt it because you have knowledge of the facts to justify your doubts? Or you doubt it simply because you want to?
And you want another thread to debate it so you can continue to criticise the club? Are you in possession of all the facts to 'analyse' it?
How much have Spurs wasted on him?!!
Solely in terms of natural talent, he'd be a good signing but, in terms of attitude, work rate and commitment, I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.
Not so desperate as to play in a totally contrived game, surely? If our scouting and recruitment team needed a game like that to decide who to sign, I'd despair of them! This isn't a trial for Sussex Schools U10s!
IF we have made an offer, how do you know that the club is 'wasting' any time on this? How do you know the player isn't interested?
We, on NSC, are the only ones wasting time on this....and 99.9999% of what we've written is pure guesswork. That's our fault, not the club's or the player's.
I'm surprised you are a father because this is the post of a child grizzling and stamping his foot in the primary school playground.
Your abuse in previous posts, and in point 4 of this one, lose you all credibility and sympathy.
The Club and NSC will be fine without you.
