    Nelson Mandela.

I certianly don't think mandela is a saint or this paragon of understanding and virtue that people seem to have made him out to be. He admits as much in his autobiography. However, his ability to put aside his personnel feelings and lay himself down for his country, and his ability to forgive...

    Scarborough FC

Terrible news - I once missed out on a 5 course meal at a conference so I could go watch the seadogs play at the theatre of chips

    southease station

What a great thread this is - well done everybody. When I used to catch the train home from school from lewes to newhaven, I used to wonder why kids got off at Southease station and thought they had probably just decided to run away into the downs... The walk between rodmell and telscombe is...

    Santorini or Mykonos?

I was thinking of doing the same this year - a greek colleague said Santorini is a really scenic island but the beaches aren't that great. Myknonos is a bit more touristy but has nice beaches - so why not do both.

    Which Brizzle club

Staypuft - you must be talking about my brother? Having him mince on and on about city going up and what a big team they are, has driven me to be a rovers fan. Looking forward to going to the memorial ground next season and probably leaving some new absinthe stains on his carpet.

    Millwall - sad

I thought millwall always closed the lower tiers on the last home game of the season and I'm sure millwall will be doing its best to stop the ciderheads getting into the home ends. There are many other clubs who have problems like millwalls but I think millwall have tried very hard to sort it out.

    Player of the season.

    1. Cox 2. Hammond 3. Revell

    Cho Seung-hui

Not sure I agree with putting it down to him being "mentally unstable" - I thought he had been sent to a psychologist but then again that probably counts for most people in the US and doesn't make him a psycho. He was probably just being treated for depression caused by the bullying. If a person...

    El-Abd - FINALLY

Gritt23 - I think I sit just a bit behind you and I did see a group a bit further up and on the right that were going mental at adam as soon as the whistle blew. Anyway - lets just hope the team and the fans can unite for the last few games so we can actually enjoy them without wanting to go...

    El-Abd - FINALLY

I seemed to have been pictured in the argus surrounded by those fans who were getting most upset by el abds comments - and from that vantage I would say that some were singling out adam for some major abuse and then when he handed it back they acted outraged. I'm glad he's apologised but the...

    Proposed Drug Reclassifications

khat is that stimulant that african taxi drivers use to stay awake for days on end. I'm not sure how they came by that table in the lancet as I must have missed it and am very surprised that heroin is so high on the list. I guess if they are mixing up addiction, physical and mental effects then...

    Anyone been to Kos

Went to Kos town a couple of years back and really enjoyed it. I spent 6 days in kos town drinking and chatting up swedes, germans etc, then spent one night in kardemena watching british beer boys fight and pasty faced english girls throwing up. What I saw of Kardemena was the hideous brit...

    favourite english football stadium?

I went to anfield this season and thought it was rubbish - great atmosphere but the stadium is old and a bit ramshackled. The seats in the kop have absolutely no leg room - god knows what would happen if the stewards got the fans to sit down. Best prem stadium i've been to recently was the...

Mickey Adams asks "Do we want promotion?"

Problem with that - is that clubs will then find it easier to poach our best players. Even the youngsters are ambitious and want to play at the highest level. I'm just not sure that a year in div 1 will make us stronger at all. I feel that success breeds success and so would want us to go up -...

    Walking In A Mayo Wonderland

I aslo thought he came on and played really well. The neat passing triangles between him, cox and robinson are what kept us in the game. Before that we couldn't string two passes together.

    The Official Millwall Roll Call

The Ashes - Longest sporting rivalry?

I believe the oldest cricketing rivalry is actually a complete surprise - I'm sure I remember reading that it is USA v Canada.

    Lewes bonfire...?

This was my first lewes bonfire night for 5 years and I had forgotten how much I loved going to it as a child, teenager and adult. It really is an amazing experience. It makes me laugh how people are so health and safety conscious these days - when I went as a child, having bangers going off in...

    Ross Kemp On Gangs

I was watching the capetown episode when my girlfriend piped up that she used to visit pullsmoor as part of her course at stellenbosch university. She had to do group work with these nutters to try and rehabiliate them. It really is a jail where the lunatics run the asylum.
