    Reading's first "goal" yesterday.....

I agree, was it Yeovil, who stood aside and let their opponents score in a match from the kick-off a couple of seasons ago after the ball kicked back to the keeper after an injury accidentally went in? Its too late now though, the goal has to stand, a replay would set an impossible precedent.

    Brighton accent

Yes, there is a Brighton accent. I grew up and lived in Mid-Sussex, worked in Brighton for a few years, I could easily tell who was and wasn't from the Brighton area in The North Stand by their accents. Not sure if I could now after 8 years in exile.

iPhone 3G 16gb. I bought an unlocked iPhone in Hong Kong in April and used it with my Orange pay monthly sim card. I was so impressed that when my Orange contract ran out three weeks ago I decided to go legit and got the new 3G model on an 18mo contract from O2. It costs me for £40pm for...

Check theses pictures out - London from above at night...

When I flew in from Sydney to Heathrow in April the plane had to circle for a while while waiting for a landing slot, it was early evening, just after dark, we were circling over central London for about 15 minutes. It was an awesome sight, just like in those photos. I spent all the time...

Glitter refuses to board plane to UK as he is having a heart attack.

He's on a flight to Hong Kong now, clearly heart attacks do not prevent flights to HK, like they do flights to the UK.

This question has been bugging me for years but I've never Googled it

I hear that due to the success of The Olympics that GB has decided to rename a famous place in a similar manner to Peking/Beijing in honour of China. Therefore 'The Peak District' will shortly be renamed 'The Beige District'.

The Funding Behind Team GB's 2008 Olympic Medal Haul

Add all that lot together and it probably wont even buy a spare part for a nuclear sub, or for 10 minutes of what Iraq/Afghanistan is costing us, or Chelsea's wage bill for a month. You decide whats the best value for money, I know what I think.

    Worst car you ever bought

About 15 years ago, a Fiat Uno, it was constantly breaking down with major faults, costing £100s each time, I should have just pushed it off Beachy Head as soon as I bought it, would have saved me a packet. To rub salt into the wound it had a 'Car of the Year' sticker in the back window.
