Am I the only NSCer who'll admit to having watched the man perform? At the Brighton Centre in about 1987. Much as I really hate to say it, he was brilliant.

I think I was at that show - when he appeared from a door about 30 feet above the stage? I enjoyed it also - he always seemed to not be afraid to send himself up.

That rings a bell - he was supported by that bequiffed trio called something like Westworld, the ones who did Sonic Boom Boy. My memory is hazy because my 17 year old self had drunk too much cider and was more focused on groping the girl from sixth form that I'd gone with - something the great man himself would no doubt have enjoyed witnessing.

The bloke is still worth about 5 million, he can buy a lot of privacy for that sort of dough

hasn't one of the girls he molested been proclaiming her love for him and wanting to marry his bank account?

You took a girl on a date to a Gary Glitter concert and STILL got some action! Nice work.

I'm not surprised he doesn't want to board the plane, there isn't the same availability of cheap young hole over here.

My guess is he'll be back in this country by 25th December. I can hear it now:

"Another cock n hole Christmas
Another Christmas cock n hole
Parents missing, kids aged three
They'll never guess what they'll get from me.." etc etc

Funny how he has a heart attack since it was revealed the restrictions to be put in place on him in the UK (no away games , no NSC etc). "Oh, I think I've changed my mind now".
Just let him die out there in S E Asia , it will save the NHS and Social Services some money.

Maybe I'm missing something, but he is being deported; I thought that meant being forced to go to wherever he's being deported to. Yet he seems to be able to pick and choose where he goes? How is that allowed?

He was deported from Vietnam but is a free man. The flight changed in Thailand but he is not under arrest there and the only thing stopping him is other countries being reluctant to admit him. 19 countries have so far said they do not want him.
