If so, is it horrible?
Last time I worked in London I used to get the train up from Hove so the journey was about 1hr so the commute wasn't *too* terrible. From Worthing I see it's roughly 1hr 20 but potential to get a seat is a little bit higher from Worthing.
I know southern rail are both...
8 miles today around Worthing being buffeted by the wind, luckily my normal 'loop' is just over 4 miles so at least I alternate between wind behind / ahead.
4th Brighton Marathon this year, aiming for 4:30. PB is 4:59 that I did on the first one in 2010 but this year I've felt fitter, broken...
Just moved from there, all residents parking only anywhere near during the weekday. Best bet is to try and find someone with a zone N permit and buy one of their guest permits for a couple quid.
Portslade station however you can park on the street nearby if you go past the Noble House pub.
It's run on the path that goes round the park. I'm not sure if there is any works going on near the mini railway but that just involved a 1 minute detour across the grass last time.
Getting married next year and have been tasked with sorting out the entertainment. Can anyone recommend wedding band or DJ or Karaoke that they've used or experienced before? Wedding would be in central Worthing :)
Will be moving house soon between Hove and Worthing and on the lookout for a removals firm that offers storage. Always used man with van before but now I'm moving an entire house rather than from a shared flat.
Do removals companies offer a service where they can take things and store them...
So, where is good? We've looked at a few properties to buy and the gf has taken a shine to a property just off Stone Lane/Littlehampton Road and one on Terringes Avenue near where it meets Ringmer Road.
What are these areas like?
So, you now have 2 iPhones, one new one from insurance and one old one you lost and you want to sell the one you lost and claimed against? Surely that's fraud...
Of course not, I half expected a switch across 240V and an earth going straight through, hence my hobby electronics knowledge wasn't good. And yes, he has so I will give it a go later.
With my knowledge of hobby electronics (i.e 12v tinkering) I was looking for +12V and an earth... is that now how it works in these systems? I.e what lines would bring 240V to the switch and what lines should they touch potentially involve me being a little bit crispy...
It's currently 3 switches, I bought a replacement one but the terminals seem different. The current switch has 3 'A' style terminals with the red at the bottom and yellow and blue at the top. The one I have bought has a common L1 L2 etc stamped on the rear of it.
Are you talking about something...
Anyone got a recommendation (or indeed, is one) for a good sparky to replace a broken wall light switch? It's part of a loop (it's got yellow, red and blue wires going into the switches) that work the hall and landing lights. One of the plastic switches broke off so I took it off the wall and...
I have a Pebble.
I like it, but I use it to hook up to Runtastic 99% of the time as a basic running watch. I sometimes were it out and about and it tells the time fine! Battery lasts about 5-6 days.
Hi guys,
I am the leaseholder of 1 of the flats in a 2 flat building. The freeholder has just offered the freehold of the place for sale and as such I am interested in going in jointly with the other leaseholder. The Freeholder has basically said "make me an offer" so I am unsure about how to...
Rescue one from the RSPCA in Patcham. They'll give you great advice and have loads of kit you can buy to go with it.
