    Alonso/Hamilton

That's not the point. They both see themselves as rivals and the FIA are there to make sure that everyone is given a fair chance (well usually!!). If Alonso had blocked anyone else in the pit lane then he would have been in serious trouble so the FIA had to be seen to protect Hamilton. Not...

Who on here has seen the Albion at Selhurst

We were all absolutely fuming in the Kelvin Morton match but having seen highlights recently I have to say he was technically correct with every decision (yeah right!!). Pa_l_c_ (sorry my spell checker rejects the correct spelling!) were just much smarter than us at getting into the right...

    Help settle an argument

Best Zamora moment for me was an assist rather than a goal. Away at Reading he took a quick free kick for Brooker to run on to and score. The silence was deafening!

300 BRIGHTON JOBS TO GO - You can hear a smile!

Wasn't really arguing with you, just pointing out that he is proud to be British just as he is proud to be Irish. As I said, technically, he is from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. However, he would always put British when filling in his nationality on a form as would I...

300 BRIGHTON JOBS TO GO - You can hear a smile!

I think you may get the Orangemen going here. The following is from Wikipedia, so cannot be taken to be gospel but is the way I have always been brought up to understand it - "Northern Ireland has been for many years the site of a violent and bitter ethno-political conflict between those...

    Wembley help please

There are a few big Car Parks about 20 minutes walk away. Two I can think of are at Ikea and Tesco's. We parked in the Tesco one for the '91 play-off final and it was full of Notts County and BHA cars. They may be stricter now that the Stadium car park is restricted but they are worth a try.

Just spotted that they're all in alphabetical order of first name except Wardy. Was his first name really 'Sensational'? Then they would all be in alphabetical order!

Oh, and I thought they already had! Seem to remember Nigel taking a penalty in front on the North Stand. Was that on the same day that he was mascot?

I would like to apologise for the slave trade.

From next Sunday's News of the World?? Italians in shock apology for Roman Invasion of Britain! I think not!! Why do they always pick on us when it comes to apologies. We have had our fair share of invasions and, as far as I am aware, nobody ever apologised for those.

    Brighton 7 Charlton 0 1983 - Were you there - I wasn't

October 1st 1983 - Oh what a birthday present that was! To be honest, Charlton weren't at all bad that day. They had almost as many shots as we did. The big difference was that we could finish and they couldn't. If I remember correctly we scored with almost every attack we had in the first...

Definitely try Paddington. The faster trains go non-stop although some of those used to stop at Slough as well. May be busy but doesn't take long.
