My latest count (if you included England, Scotland, Wales & NI separately) is 72. I have done all 7 continents, Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australasia/Oceania, Europe, North America and South America.
In Europe I still need to visit Iceland (going in August to do a marathon there), Bosnia...
Along with the lads and lasses from BHAlba I was proud to be the kit sponsor for GG for a number of years. Pulled out this year when they ended the kit sponsors meal and merged it with the end of season bash. He was a top bloke, and has been a superb player over the 6 seasons with us. In that...
Not the 28th but if anyone fancies a cross country 10k then I am doing the Lindfield 10k on Monday 30th. Not a course for a PB as lots of styles and sometimes cows in fields but I loved it last year. They also do a 5k on the same day. Its really well organised and I think about 600 people did...
Did the Horsham 10k this morning. A new PB of 54.28 so 42 seconds faster than my previous best time for the Brighton Phoenix 10k. Last year I did Horsham in 58.53 so 4.25 quicker this time round :-) . Next race is Worthing and that will be much flatter than Horsham so fingers crossed for...
Same last year. I walked from Brighton station, helped calm the nerves and there were hundreds of people doing the same thing. Just made sure I left plenty of time so it was a slow easy walk.
I have entered this but as its only just over a month before the Reykjavik marathon will see how hard I want to push it - 55mins last year for me! Enjoyed it as so so flat along that part of the seafront.
19 weeks to the Iceland Marathon so stepping up the miles whilst most people here are tapering for Brighton or London. 17 hilly miles for today at bang on my target Marathon Pace of 11 minute miles.

Not been on NSC for a while. Since I last posted I have done the North West London HM, 67 seconds slower than Brighton but a more challenging course with lots of hills, the ones at 9.5 and 11 miles were cruel. The last mile up Wembley way then round the stadium and finally up to run round the...
A bit late with my update from Sunday but another PB from the Brighton half for me. Official times was 2.03.47 so a PB by just over 7 minutes. I also beat my previous Brighton time by 9 minutes. My goal was to stick with the 2 hour pacer for as long as I could. Had to slow a little after 8...
I also did the Tunbridge Wells HM today, who put that nasty hill in after 7 miles? Enjoyed the route despite the hill and got a PB for me of 2.10.57
Looking forward to the flatter Brighton HM next weekend

I do circuit training every Monday for 45 minutes with the local running club (no running in the winter as no street lights in West Hoathly). They say build up your "core" and this will massively help fitness and therefore your running! This includes shuttle runs to warm up, then a mixture of...

2) Inter v AC Milan
3) Belgrade Derby (again been to both grounds but no games on - they are so close its unreal)
4) Celtic v Rangers (done Rangers v Celtic and would love to do...
I did the Horsham 10k after the Brighton marathon last year, it was my first timed 10k so just wanted to break an hour which I did. I then worked up to the Phoenix 10k and did that in 54 mins, loved the shorter distances after the marathon hell!
I have a few races lined up this year now (most...
SNCF, there website has been crashing and coming up with rubbish since the draw. I booked about 8am this morning when I got to work as I gave up Sunday afternoon/evening as it would not let you check out and pay for anything, it just emptied your basket and you had to start again. Got the...
One of the most vicious away days ever with England. But for a lad called Sheffield John who basically jumped out in front of a taxi and pulled me and the taxman into it I still dread to think what would have happened as we were surrounded by a group of rather unhappy north africans who were...
I am having a mixed tournament. Going to do a day trip for Marseilles and all I have booked so far is the train from London to Lens on the 15th June and then on the 21st the train from St Etienne to Paris and fly back to London. I would then fly back out for the knockout stages! The...
I have been outside this afternoon throwing around some plastic chairs about! I need to improve my Luzzing ready for Marseilles! England v Russia v The North African local community = a nasty couple of days! It was horrible in 1998!
Stockdale 8 - My MOTM as we could have gone in 4 down and the game all over.
Bruno 4 - an off day for the player I consider to be player of the season so far, finally got going in the second half and helped the team drive forward
Greer 6 - not his best game but the best of a very poor back 4...
