Not posted on this thread for ages. Stupidly doing the Brighton Marathon again so well into my training. Did the Brighton half a couple of weeks ago in a new PB of 2.12.34. Followed the 2.15 pacers and then went for it over the last 2 miles. Aiming for 20 miles tomorrow. Taken up Spin...
Sadly the three girls will find out they were free to think in this country and free to act as they please. One they arrive in "paradise" they will find reality a little different. They will enter a world of being treated as second class citizens with no rights to work or education. No doubt...
If you want a slightly more gory one this was just minutes after the coin had sliced my eye in two! I did an article once for a Wolves fanzine after they had a few incidents of people throwing coins. I reiterate IMHO anyone who throws a coin is a total coward. If any of the Palace fans want...
Stockdale - 3 no confidence and hardly ever saves a goal, decision making poor, defenders no idea if he will come out or stay on his line
Bruno - 5 ok going forward but cant defend, positional sense poor
Greer - 4 having a poor run
Dunk - 6 pick of the defenders
Bennett - 3 poor game, going...
The defence has been the foundation of the teams that got us to the play offs, it has sadly been poor this time round.
I think Dunk is the one exception to that. My back 5 for Cardiff would be
..............................Walton...........
Halford..........Dunk......Hughes........Bennett...
Been to quite a few grounds in Italy, but that was pretty much when they had been rebuilt for the World Cup in 1990.
I have visited (think the names are correct but wait to be shot down in flames if wrong!)
Stadio Saint Elia (Cagliari for the three qualifiers)
Stadio Dall'Ara (Bologna)
Stadio...
Not done this for a while
Stockdale -7 some good stops
Calderon - 7 drove forward, shame other players didnt follow his lead
Dunk - 3 stupid stupid second yellow, 11 v 11 in the second half and we might have nicked a point
Greer - 5 Brentford very strong going forward and other than the goal...
I have known Sarah for many years and I was treasurer for the Supporters Club quite a few years ago now and Sarah was always an active fun member.
Sarah was also very active in supporting me and helping my campaign for compensation when I lost my eye in Turkey following England.

The flask landed just in front of me. I failed to notice it as was celebrating the goal. It was only when 3 stewards "surrounded" the screw on lid and I thought they were going to rope it off and call the bomb squad. I have to say that I was amazed at the amount of the glass that the flask...
1) Rory McIlroy 2) Jo Pavey (who will be starting the 2015 Brighton Marathon & 3) Lizzy Yarnold my top three.
Problem with F1 is that its not an even playing field.
I think Claridge got it right, the positioning of the 2 "full backs" has left our defensive capabilities badly exposed, it pulls the CBs out wide to cover along with the midfield players. Then when we push forward we end up will full backs who generally cannot cross the ball, so we lose it and...
My top 5 purchases this year have been
The Bones Of What You Believe - Chvrches (think it was released at the end of 2013), saw them at Brixton this year and they were superb
Inspiral Carpets by Inspiral Carpets (seeing them on Thursday also at Brixton Academy)
The Road of Bones by IQ
Songs of...
