Personally I have no problem with David Burke and would be disappointed to see him go. Sure he has, in hindsight, made mistakes, but show me any scout/ director of football or manager who hasn't. Played a huge part in the training ground and academy which will in a years produce some top...
Gets his team playing good football which is an obvious bonus, but the failure to get MK Dons up must be a downside + plus he comes across as a right knobber. Prefer him over pullis, but oh for the days of Oscar or gus.
Not sure what he has to apologise for (every club makes a bad appointment, Swansea did it with Sousa and progressed to better things), but his notes in the programme on Boxing day could be fun.
I would imagine it is a very attractive job for a manager looking their next 'project'.
I hope the club try to appoint for the present and the future (ie not afraid to use the young players) rather than getting in a 'fire fighter'.

Good, well respected, Coach who has done his coaching badges and did a hell of a lot last season for a team that...
Can someone dig out that quote after we played them in the league 1 season under Poyet, always good reading.
Achieved nothing at MK Dons, think I'll pass
Nice bloke, but out of his depth as a manager. Worse squad or not (it's not a bottom end of the championship squad) he made tactical error after error and didn't seem to learn from any of them.
Intrigued to see what ideas Nathan Jones has, did a lot of the coaching last season.
