Failing a new manager we need midfielders who are happy and capable to play full back, not sure if they exist though. Oh and should Bent go, a goal scorer who takes every change he gets
Stockdale was premier league last season and was Hull no 1 in the season they went up
Bruno, Greer formed part of one of the best defences in the league last season.
Dunk will play premier league football.
Holla was Dutch top flight.
Bennett was premier league
Darren Bent
Colunga was in La liga
Only, missed the injuries he had to deal with then (which granted Hyypia has had as well)? And most of the players that have come in since Hyypia came in have top flight experience in their respective leagues, he just seems incapable of getting anything out of them.
Play the players in positions they know and that make sense, ie stop playing full backs as wingers, midfielders as full backs. Stop making the same mistakes game after game.
Don't agree with personal abuse he was getting on Friday, but he hasn't exactly helped himself so far (and the players we...
Big big of JFC but the position he is being asked to play is doing him no favours. He keeps looking for and getting on the ball though, just wish it was further up field and he is given help in the form of s defensive midfielder (I dunno Holla, Toko, Ince?!?!).
I like Greer a lot, but that is one ridiculous comment. Granted he accepts the players are to blame, but to even compare the last two with Hyypia is bordering on madness.
"We have got a manager here now who is as good if not better than both of (Po...
If it's a player they need to show it on the pitch where it matters. Anyone else and their opinion matters about as anyone in this board.
It would be better if the vast majority of the signings that replaced those mentioned had not come in from the top flight in their respective leagues (albeit some on loans).
The fact Hyypia is seemingly going to have a war chest to buy 'better' players worries me. He had a champions league...
Nope can't see it. The club (Bloom) have put their faith in Hyypia and will back him January (what they should have done with Oscar last season) and will then give him more time to get the players playing how he wants (God help them).
Can't see him going for a while now. Seems the club are going to back and support him in the transfer window (wrong decision in my view) and then he will have the 'gelling' excuse. With that in mind I would not be surprised if he is still come here come end of February or March.
