Bugger. It's his organisational skills and leadership that we miss most.

It is a bit unfortunate that the 2 on-field leaders we have - Greer and Crofts - are both injured.

Yep, not a single leader out there at the moment & also Dunk is twice the player with GG next to him

Dunk was ten times the player he is now with Matty Upson next to him

Never thought that was the best combination tbh. Upson was a great centre half but coming out with the ball he was barely out of the Adam el Abd class - probably why he didn't play more times for England. I think we've missed Upson more as a personality than a player this year, I think Lewis is going to be better

Obviously the club will have approved what Greer has said and if that's the case, the contempt they have for their customers is evident once again. The few remaining players we have left from last season are playing nowhere near as well and whilst the new ones are, in the main, not as good, it is clearly the tactics being imposed on them that are a disaster. Hyypia's better than Poyet and Garcia- you're having a laugh!!!!!

Sorry but IMHO another pr own goal from the Albion.

At best Greer is like the little boy with his finger in the dyke at worst it's one of three things.

1) Greer is now as clueless as Hypia ( Which I don't think he is)
2) He's been forced from above to make this statement.
3) With the Poyet/Garcia comment he's insulting the intelligence of the people who ultimately pay his wages.

It's now reached the horrendous point after a lifetime of supporting the club that I want us to lose tomorrow in the vain hope that it might bring on the only logical conclusion.

As an aside and put to me at a carol concert last night at what point does the message filter down from South London?

AGENTS BARBER AND BURKE, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED PLEASE RETURN TO SELHUST PARK IMMEDIATELY.

4) He's club captain, realises there isn't going to be a change, and is trying to get support behind the manager and team - as any club captain should.

To say he's been forced is utterly ridiculous. He might not privately believe it, but as captain you're looking to do whatever you can to help your team, and right now, with Hyypia staying and the atmosphere getting toxic, he has to try to be positive and supportive.

Quite why people HAVE to be so conspiratorial – makes you wonder whether it's just to serve their own agenda (or sell their own articles….).

Maybe at the clubs Christmas party they had a sweepstake for the most rediculous comment they could get printed in the Argus although a paper that compares London Road to Shoreditch will print anything.

Not sure giving away where you are is a good idea, lots of nutters on this board fella, and it appears you maybe one them.
