46 and a few not on that list.

    Steve Cook

I think it is a little simplistic to blame Poyet for his departure and criticise him for not using youth. I rated Steve Cook quite highly and felt Forster-Caskey should have got more first team action under Poyet. Similarly disappointed when Grant Hall left. But our defence was one of the...

One change you would like to see at the club?

In an ideal world? Safe standing, cheaper prices and fan ownership. But I am pretty happy with what we have and I realise the Championship is not the Bundesliga.

Not really comparable unless they are planning on watching Rod Stewart 20 times a year...

Reciprocal pricing on away tickets in Championship

No doubt. But they could also factor that in. Like, say, a £19 deal rather than £15, with one of the clubs who tend to charge £30 plus perhaps.

Reciprocal pricing on away tickets in Championship

Following on from similar deals between some Premier League clubs I see Barnsley and Derby County have come to an agreement which will see both clubs charge just £15 for adults away tickets at their two fixtures. Great idea. Would be good to see other Championship clubs do the same...

    Rod Stewart at the Amex

I couldn't care less if The Amex never stages a concert of a band I like as long as they make money out of them.

    Rod Stewart at the Amex

Gigs like this don't always make as much money as people might think. I imagine the set up costs are high. For that reason, the club were always going to go for acts which appeal to the older music fan as they tend to be the ones who can sell higher priced tickets and thus maximise profit. You...

Mince Pies, YAY or GAY? The DEFINITIVE NSC poll.

    Have had three already today.

    Rod Stewart at the Amex

To be fair to the club, this is about making money, not staging a gig season ticket holders will want to see. The ONLY consideration will be whether or not they can sell enough tickets at a high enough price to make a worthwhile amount of cash.

Maybe we could mark the occasion by singing We Are Brighton to the ACTUAL tune of Sailing at games from now on...

Best Cricketer of the Past Twenty Five Years

Warne for me. His control and frustration of batsman must have resulted in a fair few wickets for the bowler at the other end.

Blog: Knight won't make a "penny profit" from any share sale

Thanks. I don't think there is anything sinister in the wording etc. Just that he put £2million plus in but won't get anywhere near that back. Basically, he could sell all his shares and still be out of pocket from his time at the Albion. Did try and explain that context in the blog piece.

Blog: Knight won't make a "penny profit" from any share sale

Correct. Nothing at all meant by the choice of phrase.
