I saw New York Rangers fans chuck hundreds of caps onto the ice at the MSG when a player scored a hat-trick, and I think most clubs do similar. I believe they are scooped up and given to local charities.

I am by no means saying Oscar won't be great. I hope he is. Still far too early to judge.
But I do wonder whether people would have been quite so excited had we appointed, say, a former Man United youth team coach who had spent a successful single season in a league of similar stature to Israel.
