True, but our new manager also won't want to instantly lose his best player. RDZ wants to get his feet under the table at Brighton, feel secure in his position, and getting good results is the best way to do that. Losing Trossard in only 3 or 4 games time could put that at risk. I will be...

We don't do sales in January. Dan Burn last year is the only one i can think of and they were quite unique circumstances. We've bought quite a lot in Jan, but I'd be surprised if we sell.
Liverpool may well have had Allison, Fabinho, Firmino, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez on the pitch at the same time. They've also got Thiago who claims to be Spanish but is really Brazilian and Arthur Melo who's crocked.
Spurs have 6 South American first-teamers, Richarlison, Davinson Sanchez...

Think we were only team not to have scored from one this season? Or a stat to that effect. So perhaps unsurprising that Gross has been taken off them, and March given the job
Exactly - my overriding thought was delight that Mitoma was fit again. I also knew that the formation would not be expected by Potter who had probably spent time coaching them how to deal with Welbeck
I don't think he would have got that abuse either if Potter was still at Brighton, he just got caught up in the events and ultimately became the most obvious focal point of our anger at Chelsea and Potter in general.
It seems to be an unwritten rule that you play your reserves in the early stages of the League Cup, wherever you are in the table, whoever you're playing, whatever the fixtures situation, and I don't expect anything different.
So glad she's gone. Our last game we played when Boris Johnson was prime minister we beat Leicester 5-2, and the first game of the Rishi Sunak era we beat Chelsea 4-1. But the Truss era was a total trussterfuck
