According to Football Insider we "are plotting a move for Japanese attacker Keito Nakamura. The left-sided attacker, 22, has been earning rave reviews playing in the Austrian Bundesliga with LASK".

They note he could be available for as little as £3million. "He has scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 16 games so far this season. That comes after a breakthrough season in the 2021-22 campaign which saw him net 12 goals and make two assists – including three strikes in Europa Conference League competition."

Potentially nonsense, and also apologies if fixtures.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

We can double shirt sales to Japanese tourists!

Looks decent and his stats sound great.

Though he wont get that much time on the ball in the Premier League, also if I'm nitpicking he doesn't seem to keep really close control of the ball either, there looks to be alot of space between him and ball at times.

Not seen enough (if even something) of him specifically but Japan (and to some extent South Korea) are coming strong right now and there's a lot of good, cheap players to find for those who are quick to realise it.

Keito Rocky Horror? A maybe from me.

But where will all these lightweight attackers fit in when we already have Adingra, Khadra, Sima and Kozlowski due to come back from loans?

Sounds right up our street as a signing so wouldn’t be shocked

If just one of those four establish themselves in the PL, its a success.

Khadra is gone. Sima nowhere near the required level and will probably need another loan deal. Adingra and Kozlowski might have a decent chance but most likely outcome for both of them is that they'll need another year on loan somewhere (probably Championship) before they can really compete.

Difficult to judge from the clips but looks quick over 5 yards and looks balanced because he can use both feet equally well it seems. So its a yes from me!!!
