Fair point. I'd certainly prefer a keeper to be a great shot stopper and good at taking crosses etc. than being a great kicker!

Of all things to say about Davies 'a half arsed' performer he isn't. I don't think he looked great today but he didn't stop trying and running - and he looked more upset than anyone at the end. He definitely wants to play for us - he needs to score a goal and get some confidence.

I reckon Gannon is still one of the four. I think it is us not willing to meet his demands (whatever they may be) at the moment. It's unlikely he will come but I reckon he is one of the 4 still being considered. Boothroyd, Pardew, Ince, Gannon And I'd be happy with any one of them
