It is, on Twitter at least, hard to get it to work accurately though. There must quite a few John Smiths who follow the Albion, and selecting the correct one will be tricky. You can solve this by, for example, asking people to link their social media accounts to some sort of club account (their...
Sorry. To answer Carrot Cruncher's question properly, you can transfer and you can upgrade up six times still "Any such upgrades can be processed no more than six times per season ticket holder per season and will be charged at the price of the match ticket minus the pro-rata value of the season...
There's two trains an hour after six, they'll likely be three carriages long too. If a lot of people try that option they'll find themselves out of luck.
I've been told by people who've done it after Bonfire that the walk from/to Lewes isn't too nice. It's certainly doable, just not sure it's...
Nah, it says you can sell them for face value or lower, as long as it's not being resold online. Basically you can give/sell to mates etc... for face value or less. You can't sell or transfer the whole season ticket though, just on a match by match basis.
It's not clear though. It says "Any...
The queues for Park and Ride shouldn't be that bad, unless everyone is using as a way to get into town. It's normally full or close to anyway since they reduced the capacity.
I haven't been for a while, and have only been on non-match days. It's pretty average small pub, reasonable pub food, friendly staff. Do here it's very good on match days.
Yeah, that's just so lazy. Even walk to Moulsecoomb and get on the 49 etc... that become available there and won't be full of people from the football.
I would understand people being frustrated on Tuesday night etc... People don't always want to be out too late on a work night, but I'd imagine...
Absolutely. I'd rather get a bus back towards town, but if I have to I'll happily walk home.
Of course, this doesn't factor in the elderly and others that may find walking the 4 miles or so quite a challenge.
Oh, I'm not saying it's a good idea. It's a bloody terrible idea. Buses are the only viable solution for those using public transport, trying to use the trains in anyway is super dumb.
I also think there are still some foreign students at Sussex, and they're going to be terribly confused when...
The thing is they seem to already be down hundreds of Season Ticker Holders. There were a lot who very publicly didn't review at the end of last season, placing their season tickets on a statue outside the stadium. CARD (the main campaign) posted a link to a thread on Charlton's main forum...
Nothing's going to be good, but I reckon Park and Ride to Mithras is, potentially, a reasonable option. The buses run regularly and it gets you to somewhere you can get more buses easily. The 25 etc... may be overcrowded with people trying to use it as a like for like train replacement.
They already do price them on perceived demand, that's why the club have match categories. On a C grade match, the £42 tickets are £35 for example. Seems to be a £6 or £7 reduction from A to C in general.
I'd disagree with that very much. It's just what you love. Some people love concerts or films in the same, or very similar way. For me football draws me in far more passionately than my other examples, but I know people who will go to gigs as frequently, or more frequently, than I watch football...
I'm torn. I'd like to do more away games this season, and Reading is quite achievable (and probably the easiest to do until Fulham in January). However, I'm also fairly skint until my flatmates actually pay me money they owe me, and it's £50 for ticket and travel. Really don't know whether to do...
Presumably because £42 is what the market can bare. Beyond other elements (like the fact that the club would then have to bring down the cost of season tickets to keep them good value), the £10 reduction means the club has to sell 1.3x as many tickets to make the same money. They're making the...
Double booking fee, particularly with print at home, is being unreasonable. I can understand one fee to accommodate the process of upgrading (although it's still taking the piss a bit), but a second one is just utterly unfair.
Do agree with Notters thought that this by not pro-rating the...
