Due to the Amazon Prime error code 6085 I only managed to watch the last ten joyous minutes.
Palace friends of mine on social media calling for a "taxi" for Roy. I thought it was good and positive substitutions by Roy but they backfired on him.
I really don't but into this "looked tired" line, football is his profession and he trains week in week out to play three games a week. Grealish has come through the EFL and is use to a busy schedule in fixtures.
Maybe we just did a good job on him and closed him down quickly.
Loving the positivity on this thread, let's hope the players are a tad more confident.
Villa are a bit up and down, we should have won at Villa Park last season, our record against Saints isn't awful.
Dunk and Propper returning and Lallana and Welbeck getting more fitness in the legs we'll be...
God this is simply pathetic, it's not all negatives around the club. The best football we have every played with a fantastic crop of youngsters coming through the ranks creating competition for places in the first team.
We lack a goal scorer, we all know that, hopefully Welbeck is the answer...
Burn does everything that is asked if him, he's clearly a great hard working professional. The only problem is that he hasn't got the ability to cross the ball into dangerous positions.
It's not his fault as he's not that type of player, he's a defender.
Let's be honest Wellbeck and Maupay aren't going to be "prolific" but ten goals each during the season will keep us competitive and probably secure in the League.
With Dunk returning I can see a back three of Dunk, Webster and Veltman with White sitting in midfield, sadly Alzate will get pushed further down the pecking order.
Totally this, our style of play is so pleasing on the eye we are just lacking in the final third. Hopefully Wellbeck will be the man to turn it round and bang in a few.
Definitely Potter in, the results will come of that I'm sure.
I haven't watched it yet, did Johnny Moped get a mention? Allegedly he was the first UK punk rocker.
I went to school with a couple of the current Mopeds line up and they always claim Captain Sensible was in Johnny's band. Shame from what I can gather he never really made much money due to...
For me it hasn't "gone wrong" we have been competitive all season bar a poor second half against WBA.
At times inexperience shows when we give the ball away cheaply in key positions which was costly against Everton and Chelsea.
I do think our team selection has been wrong when we only play...
The way we are playing it can see it going one of two ways, 12th or 13th comfortable or bottom three.
In general we play some wonderful stuff but weak up top or we are careless with the ball and look exposed at the back.
Maybe the answer is Wellbeck up top and Dunk leading from the back.
