Alzate is young, he will learn from mistakes, thought he was excellent today, comfortable on the ball both passing and carrying.
Hopefully he can turn a negative into a positive and move on a better player for it.
Solly was a huge positive last night, just needed better support from the front two.
I think he has cemented his place in the team all time we play a back three.
A friend who is a Palace STH is taking advantage of the scheme, missing this season because he feels it just won't be the same and basically putting a £200 deposit on his current seat for the following season.
TBH I thought it was quite a good idea.
Has Barber out the kettle on yet, I hope the plate of biscuits has custard creams and jamiee dodgers we can't have disgruntled reporters for such a big announcement.
No, I only missed three games that season and in my humble opinion he hasn't got the strength or work rate required to play as a striker. With our system the strikers drop back and I just feel he is lazy.
Why ask the question about my attendance, lazy reporting.....
Not sure what that proves, he squared up to a player after he lost the ball. It doesn't make difference what the manager thinks it's what the officials think.
Anyone but us!
West Brom, Fulham plus another. I can't see Saints or West Ham being in the relegation mix this season, Palace have added to front players and scoring was was there issue.
Sheffield Utd won't have such a good season, Burnley seem to have off field issues and Leeds being new boys...
Huddersfield away in 1994, the forecast was for snow up North, on the Friday as I was leaving the office I rang Huddersfield to see if the game was on and was reliably informed "tut game is on as the pies have just been delivered".
While driving up BBC radio were just reporting games on as so...
I was at that game, George Parris' shorts, baggy in normal conditions got so wet they were almost round his ankles.
It was a great display in awful conditions.
