Is the problem Paul Winstanley then who as far as I can tell has no football background other than that he is good at Prozone which lets face it is just a dumbed down version of Football Manager. Some of the crap recent signings make more sense if we are relying on statistical analysis as our...
Ran this today. 1hour 22 approx which was 2 minutes faster than my best previous effort. Was a bit breezy in places and not ideal underfoot so very pleased with that time
Its clear there have been some strange decisions and events during Bloom's tenure as chairman and of course its easy to be wise after the event. However the main thing we know about Tony Bloom is that we don't know much about him.
Given the money spent on the club over the last 5 years we are...
Excellent analysis of what happened yesterday imo and highlights the poor coaching and poor pre / in / post game management by Sami and Jones. I would only add that I thought before the game that Caskey and Gardner would get overrun and that Ince/Holla should have started in place of Caskey. The...
"My coaching career is not very long and this is the first time that I'm stuck in such a situation," said the Finnish coach. - from his Bayer Leverkusen days.
He is still stuck in the same situation 10 months later.
Even more worrying is the after the game, Hughes said that they spent a lot of time practicing them during the week. Whoever was leading those practice sessions should resign.
I think the squad is OK but also have concerns about the numbers of players "passing through" (especially the loanees). When the going gets even tougher they may not be prepared to fight because they know they will be disappearing in the summer.
I thought his poor distribution lead to the first goal (about 20 seconds after his poor kick found a Fulham player) but prepared to be corrected if I have mis-remembered this.
He is not nippy. He looks like he is nippy because of his running action but how many times have we seen him outpace a defender (including centre backs who are normally slower than full backs).
On the subject of COG and our chances of getting rid of him - I was interested to note that the Norwich City programme was claiming he cost us around £2 million!!!!!!! I don't fancy our chances of recouping that!
Agree with this. The draws are not the "we dominated the game and were unlucky to draw" type. They are the "we showed spirit and did well to get a draw" type - exactly like yesterday. What surprised me yesterday at the Norwich game was how much physically bigger and more powerful the Norwich...
Was at the game. Generally Stockdale looked OK apart from his distribution. Having looked at the highlights on TV he was possibly a bit slow down to the third but generally nothing wrong with his performance.
However i believe that whatever your position in the team you should earn it on merit...
Withnail: Are you the farmer?
I: Shut up, I'll deal with this.
Withnail: We've gone on holiday by mistake. We're in this cottage here. Are you the farmer?
I: Stop saying that Withnail, of course he's the f--king farmer!
I f--k arses? Who f--ks arses? Maybe he f--ks arses! Maybe he's written this in some moment of drunken sincerity! I'm in considerable danger here, I must get out of here at once.
