..why does no one in the team seem to know who is responsible for free kicks around the box? Again we have Gardiner trying to hog the ball whilst JFC Colunga and others are all trying to tell him to **** off.

In the end it was a total balls up as usual with Colunga and Gardiner giving each other verbals for the next five minutes.

All whilst Hypia just sits there doing nothing with his arms folded.

Surely he should make a decision on who will be our dead ball specialist around the box ?

Makes you wonder just how much of a shambles it is behind the scenes. Is it at the point that they don't really know who should take free kicks?

So true, the free kick taker should be sorted out before they even step on the pitch and not arguing who is going to take it.

Gardner should be made to stand at least ten yards away, as if he was a member of the opposition.

JFC too.

And Colunga.

To be fair to Hyppia, who was out of his seat trying to get instructions across at free-kicks.

I think the problem is the players aren't listening to them. He'd definitely lost the dressing room.

Elliott Bennett should be taking all set pieces but didn't take any today. Baffling.

I was screaming for him to take them from the off. It looked like he felt he didn't have the authority to take them, only being on loan and all that. Shame.

Even more worrying is the after the game, Hughes said that they spent a lot of time practicing them during the week. Whoever was leading those practice sessions should resign.

Makes you wonder what the fluk they get upto in training if anything

I imagine they walk around saying "this place is good enough for the premier league" Then perform like conference players. :(

Gardner needs to be fitted with some kind of shock collar that goes off whenever he thinks about shooting from outside the box.

Hyypia seemed to suggest he was frustrated that the players are not doing what they're told. I'd draw the same conclusion as you - the players have no faith in him.

So you're going to be fair to Hyypia and then make seriously negative stuff up about Hyypia, for which you clearly have no proof.
All the while talking in cliches.

Corners, free kicks whatever. Ours were absolutely cack compared to Fulham's in simple delivery. Nowt to do with Sami, more in ability. Embarrassing.

Our corners in the early part of the game were very threatening, we just stopped getting them once Sami switched to his patented Never Win Tactics.

Not going to get into a tennis game here, accept your views but our crosses either hit the front player along the ground or 20 yds over the back. Sad. And as for the abysmal free-kicks on the edge.......well.

if certain players don't do what they are told then you drop them. seems to me that JFC is the one always trying to take the set pieces and failing miserably.....
Not sure he took a single set piece today... most of the corners were Colunga, most of the free kicks Gardner, and a couple by Colunga and J. Bennett?
