The "EU nationals" (there's no such thing as an EU national is there?) that I normally see dossing on the streets in Brighton and London are people from the UK. Certainly the accents asking for money are usually British regional. Am I missing something?
There was the potential for trouble, particularly when at 7pm with a massive queue at Brighton station a surge to get on a train pushed a barrier over and people fell. Pissed-up Villa fans who had waited 45 mins were getting aggressive.
Young women probably use different expressions to you and she is from America where a different style of English has evolved. If you ever leave England or speak to a young woman you may need to accomodate these concepts. However, I'm impressed that you can work out her political leanings from...
It sounds like you are talking about influence rather than power. His messages such as it costs UK £55 million a day to be an EU member, or that the majority of our laws are made by the EU certainly had a big influence despite being blatantly false.
I work with 2 leavers who have definitely changed their minds now that they appreciate the risks involved and potential impact on their kid's futures...
I fully expect that if the referendum had resulted in a narrow remain majority then UKIP would have continued their campaign to leave in whatever way they could. Even if I was a "Leave" supporter I couldn't argue with Parliament being fully engaged to hopefully avoid the country being steered...
Why stop at FIFA? Let's withdraw from the world entirely. Once we figure out what "leaving" the EU actually means then next leave NATO, then the UN and the Commonwealth, and icing on the cake England can withdraw from the UK. Splendid isolation, country taken fully back.
No the world going mad is when everyone ignores the rules and just does what they like. Isn't it simpler to have a consistent "no symbols other than national badge" rule than having to make a ruling every time a country wants to introduce something else to their shirt? Would Argentina be...
One of these blokes has almost completed full affiliation reassignment from Eagle to Seagull over the last 20 years and wears blue and white scarf to matches. I think he looks out for Palace results but that is about it.
This is true, I know a couple of dads who supported Palace growing up but have moved to the coast and have Seagull supporting kids, and indeed take them to the AMEX and cheer when Albion score.
Most UK businesses rely to a greater or lesser extent on imported materials or components and due to global lack of confidence in sterling these will be costing a lot more now which obviously drives costs up. This should be offset to some degree by hopefully exporting more, but many companies...
A ridiculous thing you can attribute to Brexit is the national outbreak of burying heads in sand; let's all pretend that everything will be just fine...
