I haven't seen anyone else comment on SWFC's hideous new kit (apologies if I've missed it elsewhere). They don't look like Sheffield Wednesday anymore and I bet the locals don't like it. God forbid that we lose proper blue and white stripes again!
The DLR has been operating driverless trains for over 15 years. For me though the issue is that I would prefer there to be a guard on the train for passenger safety reasons. In my 22 years of commuting between Hove and London I have seen a large number of situations where I was glad there was...
That's a very negative analysis of our fan-base. What about people like me, a regular at the Goldstone from 1977, an occasional ticket buyer at Withdean (5/6 games a season) while the kids were small, now a season ticket holder at The Amex. There's a lot of us out there and if it makes you...
Hahahaha! Seriously though, we all saw how the crowd lifted the team last night, so a bit less cringing and worrying about what the neighbours might think and someone bring a flippin' drum and it's sorted!

Well I hate to raise it but one of the few times the NS gets full coordination is when people bang on the back of the stand "Bash bash, bash bash bash, bash bash bash bash, bash bash - BRIGHTON!" And it's loud. What on earth could be used to bring that coordination more regularly?
Completely correct. There's a no-man's-land between the two groups and when they occasionally manage to sing the same thing at the same time it's very loud. There is no problem with singing at the AMEX, but a big problem of coordination.
Oh, from the WSU I didn't hear SWC join-in. I only heard North Stand/West Stand. Actually going back to the OP, it would probably be a lot better for overall atmosphere if the SWC singers re-located to the NS; fill that gap between the police box bunch and the other cluster. Several times...
My experience on Friday was that the kids in the Harvey's truck were working their socks-off and did a great job serving a lot of people very quickly. A 20 meter queue took about 10 mins and got my pint at 7. One kid was full time pouring pints in advance, and I made a point of thanking them...
Thanks for adding extra emphasis to my point; illogical idiocy won the day.
Going back to the OP and turning his logic on its head, perhaps Team GB are succesful due to Britain thriving in the EU.
It's illogical idiocy like this which resulted in the leave vote. And the inference that remain voters might not want Team GB to thrive at the Olympics emphasises the idiocy.
