Spurs will only be the 3rd team you’ve played in the top half of the table, at the time you’ve played them. Strange to say, but your best performance seem to have been against Liverpool, and your best result against Chelsea.
So, maybe some hope for you against Spurs.
Looking at you fixtures up until the new year, they are tough, only really Ipswich (possibly) and Southampton that you have a chance of beating, on paper at least, with the proviso that you will beat us, obviously, cos we all know how this works.
The nightmare scenario for you is getting to January 1st with only about 10 points.

Of course you've lost Olise, but from the outside it just seems odd that you're doing so badly compared to the end of last season.

I've been doing a deep dive on Palace's form and tactics and spent numerous hours poring over the data and players metrics to ascertain why the sudden drop in form and results since the end of last season and what stands out is that a large part of it is because they are f.ucking shit.

I agree on the confidence point, the wayward passes and poor delivery of long balls looked to me like a side struggling with confidence / belief.

Potter’s earned himself enough from Chelsea alone that he never needs to work again if he doesn’t want to. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him back in management, but he can be very picky. I doubt a firefighting job like Palace right now would be in any way attractive.Or Potter

By all accounts his severence deal was 18 months worth of pay, so just over 2 years in total for only 7 months work. Whether or not that would have been reduced if he had taken up another position within those 18 months would be down to the specific terms of the termination agreement.
Glasner is insistent on 3 at the back, but neither Mitchell or Munoz are comfortable as wing backs. Munoz is missing Olise, as when he goes forward now, he looks lost and turns around and goes back. We've not settled on a regular back 3, which doesnt help, and I dont think it suits Guehi, who missed most of the end of last season, and when he did play, started in midfield.
Problem is that Glasner doesnt know his best team. Kamada looks lost (pound shop Mitoma), and Eddie needs a goal. Wharton needs surgery, so I dont know why we just dont get on with that.
Dont think Andersen is as big a loss as some think, but until we get a settled defence, his departure will be a source of discussion
Just need a win, to get some confidence, but not sure where that will come from

Where are you on the Johnstone v Henderson debate? Most Palace fans I talk with seem to think you sold the wrong keeper.
I think Johnstone is better at commanding the box, whereas Henderson is a better shot stopper (Monday apart), and Henderson was the man in possession, so Johnstone asked to leave. Cant blame him, but I think I agree we lost the better keeper. Hopefully Joe Whitworth continues to develop at Exeter
There is not much between them I don’t think.
Johnstone had said he struggled to settle in the south and wanted a move back to the midlands that probably had something to do with it.
Although Henderson made a ricket against Forest the problem isn’t the goalkeeper, it’s the disorganised mess in front of him.
