That is not what DK says he has always said the money is avilable if the players are.

Whether the money was available to buy players better than what we already have is anyone's guess though.

Saturday was the worst home performance ( except Stoke ) since Hinshelwood's capitulation against Grimsby 4 years ago. If we play like that WE WILL GO DOWN. Infact we will end up bottom. Can Wilkins turn it around ?. I thought for the 1st team this season, fecking hell we really are utter shite aren't we. There was nothing there.

Will we be playing in division 4 next season ?. Simple question.

Ahh yes...the biggest over-reactor this side of Dave the Gaffer! :shootself

He has said contradictory things. For example, at the August fans forum he said we had less financial flexibilty now than in the League 2 days of Micky Adams.

Using figures it could mean that MA had £200k to spend over 6 months and MM had £100k to spend over 12 months so he would be correct in his staement. He has always maintained that if needed the money is available so we must assume that if DW finds the players he will find the cash.

I do not think we will go down, I think we have a lot of rebuilding to do and part of that has been caused by McGhee tearing the squad apart.

Getting rid of McCammon, and Knight you mean? Who else, apart from CKR, who MM was on record as saying he did not want to leave?

But then he has lost Jarratt as well, who might end up being good, but we will not benefit from that. He has left us with Molango and to an extent was possibly over loyal to some players who may or may not be what we need this season.

Hardly tearing the squad apart then in fairness? You have to give some credence, even if we don't agree with the result, to all three of those players being "difficult".

I think they were, but where replacements have come in they have not been good enough. Also the core of Adam's side have gone and again not properly replaced.

But to place all the blame on MM's shoulders for not replacing Adam's players with similar quality players is harsh without knowing what budget he had to work with. Many of the answers will come with who Wilkins manages to get in which may be helped by Bloom releasing some money having eventually got his way about MM.

It's going to be interesting, whichever side of the MM fence you sit.

But he did bring players in and possibly had the odd one forced on him and by and large these players did not do the job that was needed, otherwise we would not be in this league.

If we did get relegated, would you admit sacking McGhee was wrong?

If we stay up will you admit it was right? Now have you paid up our wager LI?

But you have been the main person complaining on here over the past couple of years that we gave Jarrett a long 3-year contract! :D

Come on Uncle Buck, some consistency please.

No, because staying up was never our main goal this season, it seems your expectations are now so low that it is yours.

If you want details of the bet, PM me.

Jarrett is the odd one, he showed glimpses without ever doing a whole lot, but then Watford taking him off us was very odd.

No, very odd would be him suceeding at Watford. He is the type of player managers will tend to take a gamble on because he has natural ability, shame about the application and the attitude.

And I thought you wanted the clique dealt with. Changed your mind about that to?

It had to be dealt with and was, however was it left to run for too long? Because of what happened with some of these players, has that put others off coming here?

And how the f*** do you know what our goals were this season? You dont! You so make it up as you go along LI it's unbelievable.

Do you know the answers to any these questions? Do you have one shred of evidence that because we had 2 or 3 tossers in our squad pissing around in training that this put other players off coming here? Anything at all? One shred of evidence?

"Left to run too long!?" So we should have got rid of Jarrett earlier then?

Which is it, hang on to him in case he turns out OK, or get rid of him to restore squad discipline? Is it too much to ask you settle on one answer and stick to it?

Errrr...the chairman's many statements at the beginning of the season? :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

If I may remind you, they were mid-table and developing the younger players. Not avoiding relegation by the skin of our teeth, which seems to be your bottom line.
