i buy diesel too......but i also know cars can run on water and electricity, i also know someone working on free internet via using the ionisphere..........this is the issue silly man, we are forced to use certain items so large mega corps can take the piss.

i want to use zero interest zero inflation money, but i cant as i then cannot buy the diesel that i do not really need in the first place, or then goto shop at the local market (tho i swap produce in co-ops).

evil dictator is subjective....many in libya loved him. in UK people are forced to pay a new Council Tax or goto Jail.....people are forced to invade other countries, people are forced to not build anything on their land without lots of permission, people are stopped from selling things on the street etc etc

Bit of debate at work today over the last few minutes of Gaddafi's life,should he have been arrested and sent to the U/N or Hague for trial or was yesterday's execution right ? One arguement a trial could well been seen in the Arab/Muslim world as a pro-western show trail media/circus and questions would be asked like 'what about Bush and Blair' ? Being shot dead eliminates that but is that the right way forward ?

what, you mean you aren't already using ham radio to access the internet? you're not already making your own biodiesel? must say im surprised, i had you down as one of those of grid types.

but then that misses the point doesnt it. you are still using a car (made with massive capital investment) and using the servers and resources of the internet (made with massive capital investment and R&D from the military and big corporations). no one forces you to use either, you chose to while deriding the system that created them.
