Could be he wanted a long term deal that we weren't originally prepared to offer . Certainly seems Falmer played a part in clinching the deal. I know we're suppossed to have a strict wage structure in place, so maybe it was a number of factors.

Whatever it was that clinched the deal, it's great to see stops being pulled out on behalf of the club.

I haven't checked other teams websites but surely the fact that the club has set up a countdown for today means that they knew that there would be plenty of activity?

To be honest I am pretty happy with what we have done so far, we really should have enough quality on the squad to avoid relegation comfortably now, but then I thought that in August!

This windo really does mark us out as one of the bigger spending teams in the division (in terms of wages and fees)
