Since the restart we have played 4 out of the top scoring 5 teams in the PL. Our goal difference has only dropped by 8, we’ve collected 7 points, that’s more than Villa, and Bournemouth, the same as Watford and West Ham. We had by far the toughest run in on paper.
We are still ahead of where I thought we would be.

Most on here had us in the bottom 3 at this stage having to get points from the last 3 to get back out.

Where as in reality we need a point from our last 3 games ... and we might not even need that.

Much as I agree with your sentiment you’re sadly wrong with the maths. Muff would be 5 behind with 2 to play if they lose. Villa would be 6 behind with much worse GD so we could be practically safe from them before we kick off.
