Will be in the NSC select squad.

Welcome aboard.

You can only play though, if you promise not to run on to the field of play during other games to try to fight any over-rated midfielders. I saw that picture.:glare:

I can only assume that he has booked his flight home from Canada the week before the tournament in that case. That's commitment to the cause (and bloody handy, as he has the kit!)

i am pulling out of my international committments to play for the team closest to my heart, and give all those crocites out there and the general footballing public the chance to see the modern day kevin pressman strut his stuff

that is once i have booked my flight:)

Just spoke to one of Sporting Bad Haircuts STAR players and he was UP for it.

We are going to give you boys one HELL of a beating.

We'll see. Any fancy-dan nonsense will see him STACKED when he comes up against the mighty Exiles.

What we lack in speed, guile and youth, we make up for with POWER.

No.

We don't have any real STARS. We are a TEAM.

The Exiles will have NINE stars, four of whom I will never have met before, but assure me they are GOOD.:jester:

What is the average age of the Exiles? I have visions of a MATURE team...

Have you seen that Carlsberg ad, 'Carlsberg don't do pub teams....'

I think the whole day will be FUN.

Is the right spirit, of course.

Re: Raffle - help needed.

I have mentioned this before but got no response. It would be good is somebody could volunteer to organise a raffle on the day. I will happliy find a prize, and I'm sure others will donate too, but I will not have the time to run this along with everything else.

The entry fees from ten teams, will give us a profit, all being well, of £300 to be split between the REMF and No Boundaries. A decent raffle will double that figure.

Look at Woodingdean Gull's amazing efforts with the golfers. they raised £155 from their raffle and there were only 10 of them there! At our event there will be 90 players plus a good few others in attendance.

I await the stampede of offers!

Any chance of a response to this from any of you lazy bastards?
All somebody is committing to is buying a book of raffle tickets and walking about for half an hour on the day selling them.

Offers of a few prizes will be forthcoming, I'm sure.

In order to minimise spending, and thus maximise the profit for the charities, I have decided to seek sponsorship for cost of the trophies.

I can already confirm that we will be fighting it out for the ALBION MORTGAGES Champions Trophy.

A big thank you to Hiney, who is always the first to put his hand in his pocket.

If anyone else has a business, and wish to get involved, then a minimum £20 will buy you the naming rights to the Golden Boot or the Top Keeper Trophy.

In return for your investment, you will get your logo, and a warm acknowledgement in the OFFICIAL MATCHDAY PROGRAM, and a warm feeling inside from knowing you've paid for a football kit for a poor african child, or a cricket bat for an impoverished Indian youth!

or this, you tight bastards?

Good man.

I would enlist gina's help if I were you. Being easy fools, blokes will buy twice as many tickets from a girl in a short skirt!

Right you tight bastards, start offering up a few modest prizes.

I am working on my head office for a decent prize, but they're a bit miserable at the moment! If they decline I'll put something up myself.

Thanks again Les.
