Any more teams?

Currently there are 7 teams confirmed as participants in the tournament;

1. Crocs
2. Exiles
3. Steaming Kettles
4. NSC Select
5. Sporting Bad Haircuts
6. London Rowdeys
7. Yo Momma

In addition, a space is being held for the following;
8. Brazil of Brighton [BoF will confirm either way shortly]
9. Albion Community Team [waiting to hear back from justin]

This leaves one further available slot. We await any takers.

The free to enter kids penalty competition will definitely be included, so bring your kids / little brother, etc along to watch - they may win a prize.

Also, tedebear commented, that it was a shame there wouldn't be enough willing ladies to form a team. If a few ladies express an interest, then there shall be a ladies penalty competition, with a suitable small prize.

Raffle - help needed.

I have mentioned this before but got no response. It would be good is somebody could volunteer to organise a raffle on the day. I will happliy find a prize, and I'm sure others will donate too, but I will not have the time to run this along with everything else.

The entry fees from ten teams, will give us a profit, all being well, of £300 to be split between the REMF and No Boundaries. A decent raffle will double that figure.

Look at Woodingdean Gull's amazing efforts with the golfers. they raised £155 from their raffle and there were only 10 of them there! At our event there will be 90 players plus a good few others in attendance.

I await the stampede of offers!

Trophy Sponsorship

In order to minimise spending, and thus maximise the profit for the charities, I have decided to seek sponsorship for cost of the trophies.

I can already confirm that we will be fighting it out for the ALBION MORTGAGES Champions Trophy.

A big thank you to Hiney, who is always the first to put his hand in his pocket.
:clap:

If anyone else has a business, and wish to get involved, then a minimum £20 will buy you the naming rights to the Golden Boot or the Top Keeper Trophy.

In return for your investment, you will get your logo, and a warm acknowledgement in the OFFICIAL MATCHDAY PROGRAM, and a warm feeling inside from knowing you've paid for a football kit for a poor african child, or a cricket bat for an impoverished Indian youth!

Confirmed thus far for NSC Select:

- Frutos
- Kev
- Meade's Ball
- seagulls4ever
- seagully
- Pablo
- Carrot Cruncher
-
-

Possibles (subject to hearing from them):

- BoF

At least one more guaranteed space in the squad (possibly two depending on BoF), so if you're interested in participating but don't have a team, let me know ASAP and you'll be more than welcome. :)

Full rotation will occur during and between games, so all 9 (assuming we end up with a full squad), will take a full and active part.

I will be there as a spectator at least or a spare player if anyones intrested. Recovering from the tragedy of Brighton Beach on Saturday (though was still fun even though there were only 3 others. Thanks to those that did go).

This should be good!

It will be better than that. It shall ensure that it is no less than MINT.

For whom will you be turning out Mr Gerbils? Are you a Croc?

I believe Frutos has one space left in the NSC select squad, should you wish to pm him.

When do our TEAM sheets need to be IN?

Two weeks before the event please, to give me time to include them in the program. You can send it to me as early as you like, or post it on here if you wish to announce it.

It will be up to each team how they wish their names to appear, depending on whether they wish to be real people, nerds or a combination of the two!

There is no way our team is having GEEK names anywhere near it...

Good man. Mine neither!

I know some folk are a bit scared of using REAL LIFE names anywhere though!

I favour the use of just normal christian names;

Exiles
Drawn largely from the mighty NSC squad that put Doncaster to the sword home and away this season, Exiles will be looking to figure prominantly here!
1. Ben
2. Matt
3. Simon
4. Kieran
etc....
