Now you are starting to fecking piss me off. ALL the reviews I read gave it 4 or 5 stars. I have never heard anyone say or write it is utter gash with terrible acting. Considering some of the fecking toilet some people pay to watch on this site it is a bloomin masterpiece. Now do one :censored:

The Sun gave Guy Ritchie's last venture a rave review. Or rather some work experience kid on their website did.

Some of the films you've praised on other threads have been pretty toilet Uncle :lolol:

I might go and see Narnia out of interest, but am expecting bad acting and gash (shall I re-phrase that?)

Give the kids a break, they are not yet Al Pacino or Robert De Niro. I thought their acting was perfectly acceptable. Are you such a harsh critic in all aspects of your life ???

It's called casting. There are many kids out there that can act convincingly.

I ask you why the feck did you go and see the film in the first place, I would stick to the fast and the furious and XXX if I were you, lots of explosions, car chases and dumb bimbo,s not too taxing on the brain or too much to concentrate on :)

Now Crash, you gave that a 7, I think? How come you gave War Of The Worlds more? Oh yeah, cos it's full of explosions, and car chases!!

Crash is way the better film in all aspects.

I thought it was a good adaptation of a good book, it is no Lord Of The Rings, but is still good, ney brilliant, i thoroughly enjoyed it, just the right length, Edmound was excellent, and the child acting was infinatley better than Harry Potter ( bar Hermione  ).Daniel Radcliffe should be stoned to death for crimes against cinema.

The effects were good and the dialogue was excellent, and Ray Winstone as a cockney beaver, genius :lolol:

Car had 2 stand out scenes, Matt Dillon rescuing the woman he sexually assaulted in the crash and the shop owner who thought he had shot the child.

Matt Dillon has been nominated for a Golden Globe and it was his best work by miles, even better than Herbie Fully Loaded.

We're going at the weekend, I absolutely cannot wait. I loved the books and the BBC adaption of it.

I reread the books last week with my oldest two children and my eldest daughter was totally captivated by it.

Not read the books, but I well remember me kids being utterly spellbound by the BBC adaptation. Must have been late Eighties, early Nineties? Sundays about 5pm aye?
