Have you been on Mars for 72 years.

It would have been nice if they could have shacked up in a penthouse flat in Manhattan but it was never going to happy mate.

you forget two things

1. he is a tax dodger, therefore no attention span at all

2. he is always pissed, being a tax dodger , so the 20 minutes he experienced may in effect have been 2 minutes

20 mins to convince the spackers to go in the wardrobe lol.

it was a tad tedious, not terrible but after the girls 4th attempt to convince them i was just urging them to look in the f***ing wardrobe.

i thought the film was not bad at all but i never got encaptuated by the whole thing,

It was ok but not amazing, some of the effects were a bit dodgy and the actors looked really superimposed at times, also the actor of the lead boy was at times downright hammy.

Id give it a 7/10 max.

It really wasnt that amazing it was ok to good though. Reviews from the media mean f*** all, they all gave Star Wars 2 4s and 5s/5 and claimed it was a rival for Empire but it was utter toilet.

Kids will still love it, but its all a bit too rushed imo to cram it all into the amount of time the film lasts. I really wanted it to be amazong as I loved the book.

The effects really could have been much better in this day and age and the acting was dodgy in palces.

Good point well made Daniel.

To be honest with Narnia, Lucas could have written the script. No character development, jumpy story and a reliance on special effects. Not all that great to me.

Call yourself a film buff and you have not seen the Constant Gardner, a superb film, made on a budget, decent acting and a nice twist at the end.

Uncle Buck with respect that it complete and total bollocks, she film in no way relied on special effects, the story did not jump and the character developement ws spot on.

The Constant Gardender is one I wanted to see, my ex, loves Ralph Fiennes and If I was still with her I would had been at the first showing, but didn;t someone post on here that it was complete and utter gash, I am sure they did. ???

Garth, it is not total bollocks, it is how I viewed the film. It started well with a bit of scene setting, the blitz etc, but no character introduction and no real development of the characters. All in all it was a poor effort with some reasonable effects.

Not my sort of film and I will not bother, if they choose to inflict on us, the other episodes that could be made.
