I actually wish he wasn't banned because I would like to think he would be suitably embarrassed this morning and would like to hear his reply. I don't know LondonBlue personally but know of him as he runs the nomadforum, a website for the Sussex county league. So being a site moderator/admin I really would expect him to know better and he owes this guy an apology. Not the 1st time Geoff you have come across as a utter cock, but this time I hope you are adult enough to find a way of apologising to bigbelly.

Only just seen this thread, so well done folks (bar the odd nob-end) for the concern & support you've offered Bigbelly. Glad to hear all is ok this morning with the OP - so here's to a happy outcome regarding his missing Father.

I know - from experiencing my old Mum's protracted descent into Dementia - how important organisations like The Alzheimers Society are in providing support & advice to family members. You've always got more options available than you think when you 'hit the wall', but you don't realise until it happens & you ask for help.

There is no shame in asking for help caring for a loved one with dementia. Whether it is respite care, full time care, or to arrange for home visits from carers for a couple of hours a week to give you a break. You haven't failed the loved one, you're not a bad spouse/child/sibling/friend. Get trained, specialist help is good for them, and the break is good for you.

There are a lot of links throughout this thread to organisations who can help. Don't be too proud to use them, or other agencies, to make sure you are in the right frame of mind to deliver care, or ensure your loved ones are cared for to the level the deserve, and you want for them.

I have spoken to BB this morning and he is touched by everyone's concern. He knows there are lots of people on here ready to help if he needs it.
Good. Problems like this are a recurring theme on NSC, and if you see the other threads of a similar nature you see that there are a lot of people with what seem like insurmountable problems, that feel like there's no way out - but there (very nearly) always is.

Find the right people to talk to and share your problem. It may take a long time to get out the other side, but it's worth it.

Well done that man. Good work. I hope BB's dad has been found safe and well.

Glad to see that london Blue has been banned. We don't need low-life that him on this site. Banter is one thing but his comments were appallingly insensitive in my view.

Giraffe, do we know if his dad has been found safe and well? Glad to hear Bigbelly knows that he has the support of NSC behind him, it's always worth remembering that for all the bickering and all the binfests, people on here care on a human level and there's a lot of support going.

Also, I'm all for the banning of LondonBlue, but it would be nice to know WHY he posted what he did. As well as the apology on top of that.

LondonBlue has form at showing their sensitive side here, as I remember: I lost everthing tonight

Interesting to recall some of the other posts in that thread...

Just gone off my lunch reading this. Harsh for BB and his family. Hope you find the help you need BB. Important to realise that when you really need people to help you, most people will go the extra mile to help you. Although I am not a stalwart of NSC I get the impression that most people are decent on here.

This. LondonBlue isn't dumb, there must have been a reason he posted such stuff. If he doesn't like BB, just keep quiet, posting very harsh comments seem a little strange to me. An explanation would be nice.

Not sure, but your concern for one of ours is touching.

Fair play to you.

When you get down to the bottom of it peoples family and friends are all that really matter, everything else(including football IMO) is either a pleasure or a pain in the arse, Either way people are more important

He may not be dumb, but since the advent of smart phones people post very dumb things to social network sites and chat sites. People seem to forget boundaries and the lines are blurred between texting mates abuse and abusing people online because if the ease of it. London blue was a cock, but I would like to think he's suitably sorry and will make an apology when his ban is up.
Chin up big belly, there's a lot of people rooting for ya big guy

This just goes to show that some things are far more important than football, great that we can all come together in someone's time of need and support them! I don't know Big Belly but I've been keeping an eye on this thread all morning, hoping to hear that he is ok along with his Dad! Proud to be a NSC'er today and good to see the back of London Blue, I'm all up for banter but there is a time and a place for it!
