Guramit Singh was the co leader of the EDL, how many people knew or heard or read that fact.
The Rabbi was also a speaker and supporter. Ruby Akhtar, a Pakistani Christian was also a speaker at a demo.
Kevin Carroll who is one of the main speakers and cousin of Tommy Robinson, has a black daughter.

EDL joint leader Kevin Carroll arrested for race-hate crime
According to the BBC, the Independant (and many other sources), Kevin Carroll, joint leader of the EDL and cousin of EDL leader Tommy Robinson was arrested and bailed on suspicion of a race-hate crime early this year.
Carroll was arrested in Luton by officers investigating a message he was suspected of posting on the social networking site Facebook. The message allegedly incited racial hatred.
A spokesman for Bedfordshire Police said: “A 43-year-old was arrested on Saturday morning on suspicion of displaying threatening, abusive or insulting written material with intent to cause racial hatred.”
Carroll has caused some stir in the past after he said Muslims were “backward savages” because they celebrated Eid.

tommy robinson ex edl joined quilliam its an organisation (kind of think tank) who tackle these matters head on, the majority are muslim & some are known to have been involved in al quida but supposedly have cut all ties with them. I sincerely hope it works out but from seeing past footage of them I cant find it in myself to trust their word. only time will tell.

I tend to think that Robinson was got at. His family was threatened, the police kept arresting him and harassing him. It would not surprise me if it was a case of leave and join this other organisation, or you will spend a lot of time in prison.....one way or another.
If you saw him being interviewed with this Quilliam lot (which incidentally made the main news, surprise surprise) he did not look too happy, more like his hand (and words) had been forced/scripted.
Unfortunately the EDL attracted many morons, perhaps some were actually planted there as well.

5%, well there are over 85 known Sharia courts in England and over 600 mosques, why so many for 5%. Perhaps when you do decide to retire back in England, it might not be 5% eh, then you can decide whether you want to come back.
