and another one

You shouldn't start a sentance with the word " and". Also, you did not finish the sentance with a full stop.

I consider myself "caught"

What if we have made an offer for Maynard ? Bristol City would be looking for a replacement and might be after Barnesy. Stalemate.

Correct answer...would'nt want Murray back...any player who shows a desire to leave would'nt play at 100% anyway.

Nah - I would still take Murray back if he did a grovelling U-turn. Not because we want or need him, so much as ripping a hole out of Palaces plans.

I would piss myself if it happened, which of course it wouldn't

1. Gus said he would sign a specialist penalty taker
2. Hoskins was a specialist set piece taker for Bristol Rovers.

Add the two together and it makes sense. Didnt he scorea penalty against us? I am not sure but think he may have done.

He wasn't their penalty taker, and no he didn't - he scored with a 39 yarder and with a mast dribble.

He played 2nd fiddle to Wood, a loanee, and if Poyer thought that highly of him, surely Barnes would have played with Murray, and Wood would have warmed the bench, but no, Poyet rather played another teams striker than his own.

Judging by the fact Poyet choose a loanee over him (who most on here dont rate)... I wasn't the only one!!

You like claiming that Poyet chose Wood over Barnes. It always seemed a bit strange to me, as they seemed to be rotated fairly evenly. My memory is not that great though, so I thought I'd see if it was true by having a look at the team sheets for the latter part of the season.

You posted your thread about Barnes after the 1-0 away defeat to Bournemouth in January. I thought I'd have a look at the games played from the following match(at home to Colchester) until the end of the season. Turns out Wood started 15 games and was a sub a further 6 times. Barnes started 14 and was sub 5 times. Wood missed one game(international match) in the run in, and Barnes missed three(injury).
I know you don't like stats, but...

The manager/chairman didn't rate him v highly. If they did, they wouldn't have let his contract run down, and would have paid him the extra he wanted.

We clearly have the money - but we're spending it on new players. That should tell you all you need to know.

Murray is a Brighton reject. End of.

Perfectly summed up. :)
