If we have convinced you to buy the bike you didn't want for twice the money , a word to the wise.

Depending your current ride and the last time you were on a roadie with 23mm tyres, there's a couple of things to know.

- It might seem a little skittish, perfectly naturally and you'll compensate that very very quickly.
- The gear change will seem instant, again you'll quickly work that out, along with the buttons.
- It's likely to be quicker than what you're used to, but you will be using the exact same engine!
A new bike isn't the miracle cure to shave 15 minutes off your times.

What it will do is give you more enjoyment, a sweeter cycling feeling, the desire to ride more, which may well, in time, shave 15 mins off your time.

So annoying this isn't on TV, sounds like it is carnage out there. Contador has jumped clear solo trying to catch the leaders, he has a team mate up front too. Nibali and Pozzovivo have been dropped from the first chase group. I think Froome is behind that.
