Bizarrely enough, 1066 I still haven't got round to A Sunday In Hell.
Although I did get pretty close to watching it the other day.

Nice find on le Tour vid,I'll certainly be watching that.

They certainly haven't!

Just finished watching that back with my 13 yr old. I was telling him how easy it is to see how a youngster can get hooked on watching cycling...the excitement of Phil's commentary, the sheer speed, grit & determination of the riders, the colour and all those fancy foreign names, the crowds and of course that channel 4 theme tune. Bloody hell!, it still gives me goosebumps now and I'm a long long way past being a young lad.

If I may be so bold SB, can I take the liberty of offering up this little beauty for consideration into your SBBAOCFYVF.

Cheers for posting that!

I haven't seen that since I was stood alond the racecourse watching it.

I remember heckling, sorry 'encouraging', Greg Lemond for languishing off the back of the bunch.

To change the subject, its cheaper to hire a car for 2 weeks than it is for 2 adult and 2 child bikes next summer in Spain. I'd be better of going to the ToysRus equivalent and buying some cheepos. Silly isn't it?

Hans she got up and ran away, with a look of such terror you'd have thought you broke her seat.

I think that excludes you for ever more.

No. She finished her meal, then got up from her seat, about 10 yards away, down the very far end of a long canteen table, and minced off!

Back on the subject of this weekend's UCI WC. Annoyingly, I could have had free tickets, but the marketing PLUMS responsible, have only yesterday responded to my boss' request of two months ago. Too late to organise anything now.

Still - will catch some of it on the TV. The venue looks superb. I'm really impressed. The jockos have spent our money well.

1 - Bike should be against a white background, preferable a garage door so the bike shows up properly, or if taken well, a black background with suitable lighting.

2 - Bike must be flat to camera, no silly angles.

3 - Bike must be drive side showing

4 - Chain in big ring, towards the smaller cogs at the back

5 - Crankarm following the line of the seat tube or chainstay (if you have a seat tube!!! - see link below...)

6 - Stem must be in the negative fitting. Even if you ride with it pointing up.

7 - Dork discs, reflectors, pumps, lights etc are NOT acceptable, again, even if you ride with them.[/I][/I]

8 - Hot bird looking cool in the background...

I was there of course, stood about a couple of hundred yards off the bottom of Elm Grove. Of course, I've got THE photo to prove it, but we don't want to be going down that road again now do we

Great find, really enjoyed watching the Beacon climb, great to see something so familiar, nicer surface now though!!

Anyone know of any GOOD regular cycling podcasts?
I don't know if it's regular or a promo one off but:-

The Cycling Anthology

Is up on I-tunes.

Not listened yet, will probably catch it later this morning.
But it certainly has some pedigree attached.
