If his HEARD is turned by big money. I know it's strictly speaking a flock of sheep, but cowman doesn't have the same ring as shepherd.

Whooooooosh.

Heard?

Pardon?

Great news! Particularly as last week he wanted to leave, according to some.

Buckley said, “I’m delighted. The club and Gus decided to offer me a new contract a few weeks’ ago and we got it sorted pretty quickly. I’m happy and that’s why I’ve signed another contract here.
“It didn’t take long for me to think about. As soon as they spoke to me about it I just wanted to get it sorted so my agent and I discussed it briefly and we completed it very quickly. I just can’t wait to get back out there on the pitch again now.”

I wonder how much the 'Demba Ba' clause is set at?

Good news, although I'm sure some on here will try to put a negative spin on it somehow.

No idea Stat. Perhaps you can tweet him and ask him where he keeps all his trophies that he has won

One of our most exciting players has committed himself to the club, the club are clearly committed to keeping the best players wherever possible and yet again some people look for the catch in some great news.

Look guys, I know supporting the Albion is tough, and you have to put up with a lot of crap, but here's a thought: why not just give the club the benefit of the doubt now and again and accept that sometimes what seems like good news is, in fact, good news.

There doesn't have to be a catch.

Do only pessimists support the Albion (and I use the word support in it's loosest meaning) or does supporting the Albion make you into a pessimist? There's a possible PHD thesis there for someone.

I've been supporting the Albion since November 1959 and I'm still an optimist!

I guess it all comes down to whether you trust the club or not. If I didn't trust them I wouldn't be a supporter.

It is great news and I understand the optimism that you have and I share. But I can understand why people are saying it ups his transfer price, it's been seen before. I'm with you however... good news.
