For everyone throwing in the towel, here’s why it’s not over. Great example from the BBC:

Georgia - Trump leads by 118,000, but there are 540,000 votes still to count including for swathes of urban Atlanta.
Similar stories across Rust Belt swing states.

How many votes counted so far in Georgia?

Yes. Of all the things you can accuse Trump of being a war monger is pretty low in the list thus far. I believe he’s had the least american war involvement on his watch for decades.

People still do it though. I've heard people saying "He'll end the world, he's a war-monger" numerous times.

Why? Where is the evidence for this? It's the exact opposite of the ticket he originally ran out. It's just lazy criticism.

looking forward to how the resident NSC champions of democracy who were up in arms about the thought of a second brexit vote feel about Trump stealing a victory

The ABC here in Australia are still calling it very close. The models they are use are mostly showing a Trump loss.

It seems at odds with what people are saying on here?? What are the news outlets you are watching saying?

So if the exit polls are pointing to a biden victory and the media generally seem to have it as a biden victory is trump's only chance stopping a biden victory to block the postal vote.

And this is what the bookies are banking on ?

On the NYT tracker, Georgia is currently showing as 91% counted with Trump up by 3 points.

However they still rate it 64% probability of a Biden win.

Presumably because the remaining votes to be counted are postal, and/or from Democratic heavy districts etc.

This is the kind of example of why Trump is trying to get it all shut down now.

It's all very confusing at the moment.

Confusion would certainly be second preference for Trump.

It's incredible, isn't it. He wants the votes counted in places where he's more likely to win, but wants them shut down in other places.

He knows the only way to win from here is to rig it.

Betfair 1/2 Trump.

Based on the millions of uncounted legal votes in swing states? That is, unless Trump’s lawyers can enable a fraud, things are still up in the air.

The Supreme Court is the biggest concern, unless he's whipped up the militias. If you look underneath the bluster, he doesn't look that confident.

NSC Trump haters aren’t building in the uncounted postal/‘early voting in person’ votes.

Swayed by the red map and Trump’s premature victory propaganda?

Is it bizarre to think that voters might change their minds based on how a person has actually performed in office ? Last time it was promises.

Im not sure anyone thought ever that US voters listened to our media.

Has he performed that badly if you are an average American in an average American State? There seems to be this perception that America is mainly places like New York and California. It’s the opposite.

I’d far rather Biden won than Trump, but it was pretty obvious it was going to be a lot closer than predicted, so much so I even put a bet on a Trump win, and I’m not a betting man.

The fact he felt they all had to parade in the middle of the night whooping, when the election is on a knife edge, suggested insecurity and part of the drip, drip, drip of their plans to scrub votes.

That speech..... FFS, the guy is a lunatic. How is this happening again?!

After this and 2016, the Brexit vote and last election here, questions need to be asked whether adults in the Western world are actually too stupid now to be allowed the vote?

The BBC are saying that it's too close to call, and won't be clear until Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia and Pennsylvania are declared, and we might need to wait until Friday for that.
Their analysis of those key states is tentatively pointing towards Biden, on the basis that the swing to the Democrats on the votes/districts thus far counted show sufficient swing when compared to 2016 for Biden to get at least the three rust-belt states (Georgia will declare much earlier than those three).

Maybe, I am not sure. Interested to know what the outlets people are watching are saying.

The postal votes certainly seem to be becoming important. I thought these were expected to favour Biden so things are looking good for him.
