Wow factor isn't really important to a club with desperate need for a decent new stadium. I doubt there would have been many moans from Brighton fans if we had ended up in a bowl style stadium, just so long as we had a stadium!
I know, and that's why, or at least the people I know from the States use it as a £ sign for UK currency, and not just (if at all) weight, cos I haven't seen that one.
That was rather under quoted from the OP actually...
"But the Swiss added he would not block Fifa's ethics or solutions committees should either body want an inquiry."
1) We never had 40k+ crowds, ever. New comers or old timers will be equally excited when the season kicks off.
2) You are so wrong about new supporters. They are ALL welcome and will enjoy it as much as everyone else.
3) Do you think your 'angle' on it is warranted or valid, being that you don't...
If I were pushed, which I'm not obviously, and who gives a tuppeny toss about my prediction, except me and my cat... I'd say we will finish around 9th.
But Simon has about 1k a week more to spend than King. Good appt for Redhill. Will be interesting to see what King can do without the budget that nearly bankrupted Lewes.
Time will tell.
